Comparing the All-Star prices

We booked three rooms at Movies from September 22-25. Now I am seeing that the rates are cheaper for the other two All Stars. Why would it cost more to stay at Movies verses the other All Stars?

I am debating switching since it is a lower rate at ASSp and ASMu. I have stayed at Sports before and wanted to try another hotel this go around. Just not sure if it is worth it to switch.

Is there a special deal (like room only discount) that specifically excludes All-Star Movies? That would be my guess for the price difference.

ETA: or it could be that the number of rooms for a given special have already been booked for All-Star Movies.

I believe I see on offer pages the following disclaimer: "The number of rooms allocated for this offer is limited."

I did do a quick search on Disney's website and there is still a Back to School Special discount for a Preferred Room but the Standard Room is unavailable period to even select.

So truth is your issue is really no rooms left for a Standard Room at All-Star Movies, at least directly through Disney's website. I know I had selected Sep 2016 a while back to get an idea for my Sep 2017 rates and they had the special for Back to School on both the Standard and Preferred Room so it looks like right now they are sold out on Standard Rooms at All-Star Movies (again at least through Disney's website).

FWIW it's very easy to miss that unless you actually select the hotel which isn't the easiest when all you want to do is compare the prices from hotel to hotel.
