Company D license plate-- sold on ebay for over $100!!!

Is that crazy or what!? I mean, I thought it was cool, but let's get real. It was black with silver (I think) lettering with the Company D logo on it. What's behind the high price?

If you thought that is nuts, an Olds Golf Classic license plate was just over $300 the last time I looked. I dont think I ever paid over $20 for a license plate and the one you mentioned I bought for about $15 a year or so ago. I guess its just who wants it at what time.
