Hey everyone,

So I'm a 19 year old guy, headed to DL with my family this week from Vancouver Canada. My little brother is only 7, and while I'll spend some time with him, it'd be great to have someone my age to ride Tower of Terror or Indy with. So I was wondering, do you have any suggestions on how to find other local Disney fans who would be willing to join me? Kinda trying to find something like couchsurfing.com but for Disneyland!

Thanks!

Hi,

Welcome to the DisBoards I have heard of people meeting other fellow Disneyland fans through Meetup groups. I would do a Google search for "Meetup Disneyland" and go from there.

Have a great time at Disneyland!

Disclaimer: I have NEVER met anyone through a Meetup and know absolutely nothing about how they work, who attends, etc.... I just thought I would pass along something I have been told about by others. As with meeting up with anyone you don't know, I would suggest using caution and basic safety sense. :goodvibes

If you're a member of micechat's forum, they have meets every Sunday at noon.

I will say...if your 7 year old brother is usual 7 year old size, he'll be able to go on TOT and Indy. My son went on TOT at 4, and he'll probably hit Indy-size this year (he's 5). Just in case you were worried you wouldn't be able to ride them other than alone, at all. :)

Just to further chime in with what Bumbershoot was saying, my DD9 was 6 our first DL/DCA trip and she loved the ToT, Indy, Space, Splash, Matterhorn, Big Thunder, etc etc etc.......she rode them all, your brother might be right there with you on those rides. :)
