Commutes you hate making?

I would say pretty much any of them :rotfl2:

I just don't like it when there is a lot of traffic. Depending on the time of day I really try to avoid 465.

I have a bridge phobia that just gets worse and worse. It’s starting to really limit me.

There’s a couple locations for softball tournaments that I WILL NOT miss when my DD18 is done playing and coaching. Since this is her last summer playing travel (she moves to college ball in August) I told her that when she’s home and helping coach our 11u team that I will continue to go with her to keep her company, and that 11u team plays in almost all the same locations she has played. At least I won’t have to go as much because she can’t go in the fall and spring. - only summer, so I get a partial break 🙂👍🏻

I don't like my 45 minute drive into work when there's heavy rain or snow and ice. I've always been a safe driver, but whenever it snows and rains there's a lot of drivers that still act like the roads are dry.

The one to Disney World from where I live has some scary areas - lots of construction.

Fort Pitt Bridge outbound. I have nightmares about it!
Liberty bridge and tunnel is my nightmare. I ran down after work once because I had to redo some paperwork at Rohrich Mazda where I'd bought my car the previous weekend. Took me over 4 hours to get there from Butler, 45 miles.

Well, any more any bridge in Pittsburgh is a nightmare, or will be when they finally collapse.

The Bay Bridge connecting Annapolis to Maryland's Eastern Shore. The drive is so crazy they actually have services that will drive your car across the bridge.

Chesapeake Bay Bridge Drive Over Service Transportation and Parcel Services (kentislandexpress.com)

A 10 year upgrade project is in the works, slated to begin in next year on the Bay Bridge. Should be fun, I'm never going to get to the new Target on Kent Island unless I get a helicopter to fly over the traffic :lmao:

Honestly, any time I have to drive. I’m just not much of a driver. Since Covid and having a hybrid schedule now, I’m glad I only have to drive twice a week.

I don't like driving into or around San Francisco. DH is fine with it so I always let him drive there. A lot of people tell me if they lived near San Francisco, they would go all the time. Nope! We avoid it!

Cross Bronx Expressway...

I've started flying out of Newark to not have to take that to JFK or LGA. A fare has to be really enticing to encourage me to not pay a few extra dollars to fly out of NJ.

Morning drive to work is about 45 minutes. It's one stretch of highway, with many many lights. Unplanned road services, slow people in the left lane, too many sluggish service vehicles,

This morning I was delayed due to one of my tires being nearly flat, due to an embedded screw. Something extra to work on when I get home.

The Eisenhower Expressway going into Chicago during rush hour. (So glad I don't have to do it anymore.) When I moved to town my realtor told me people used to call it the I's an hour late expressway.

32nd street in Yuma.....senior citizen thruway..... fearful the winter visitors are of I-8 this time of year crowded with goods from the worlds winter salad bowl....so stick to safe 35mph in the far right lane. I know of 32nd street as it was my May to july daily derive to cancer center with no traffic and sweet smell of harvested alfalfa . Now I avoid it and watch for cabbages along the freeway
