Commute between MCO and WDW. How long?

I am arriving at MCO on March 13 at 10:30am. We are using ME to get to WDW. About how long will it take to get to the resort? I am trying to make a lunch reservation and want to make sure I allow enough time. Thanks!

The bus ride itself is about 30 minutes. If I make a reservation on arrival day I always budget at least two hours between plane arrival time and reservation time, depending on the location of the reservation. This time we arrive at 2:30, the rest of our party at 4:40. I'm making a reservation for Sanaa (at our resort) for 6:45 or 7 pm so we can all eat together. Factor in time to walk from the gate to check in for DME, stand in line and wait for the DME bus, drive to about 3-4 resorts (depending on where your resort is in the drop off queue). We've had the whole drive take more than an hour when we were the last stop.

Edited to add, if your ADR is at a park, budget in travel time to the park too.

It depends on which resort you are staying at. For example, I stay at the Polynesian(which is in MK area) and it takes anywhere from 35-45min. You also have to take in consideration that the ME bus is there and waiting at the airport and also your check in time. I am in the same boat...Arrive at 2:20..I am guessing I will be checked into the polynesian by hopefully 3:30ish and figuring my transporation time to Epcot will take about 20+mins. I made my adr for 5:30 at the GG so we have approx and hr for a couple rides before dinner

A little more detail. We are staying at AoA and I am making a reservation at DHS. Does this help a little? Should I take the 1:05 reservation at Mama Melrose or the 1:50? It's for a Fantasmic dinner package. Thanks again!

I would do 1:50. You don't know if your plane will be ontime. If ontime, you will probably arrive at the hotel between 12:00 and 12:30. You have to check-in and then get the bus to DHS. I would be sure to find out the cancellation penalty, if your plane is late, you may not make it.

Ok if you arrive at 10:30, you should be on the DME bus by around 11 am, I would put your arrival at 11:45-12 ish at your hotel depending on which stop AoA is. Give yourself time to check in and possibly drop off your carry on items. Then find a bus to DHS and be on the bus by about 12:30 ish. You could make it to DHS by 1:05 but I would be worried about time the whole time. If you feel this is ample time (are you traveling with kids? my small kids need more time to go anywhere) then book the 1:05, if not, the worst that happens is you can check in a bit early for the 1:50 ressie.
