Community halls at which DVC resorts?

Hi,

We have stayed at BWV and SSR and the kids loved the community halls as much as the parks. We're staying at BCV this September and I don't recall a community hall there, but maybe I just missed it. Does anyone know? What about other things, like arcade, etc.?

BCV does not have a Community Hall. They do have a recreation staff (a recent addition in the last 2 years they used to have 1person) that puts on pool activities, such as music, karaoke, lobby games. There is Ping Pong behind Hurricane Hanna's. They have a nightly movie on the beach and campfire singalong with S'mores and roasted Marshmallows ($7 for S'mores kit and $3 for Marshmallows). There is an arcade next to Beaches N Cream. Sometimes the housekeeping staff will host the towel animal class.

My boys really enjoy the Community Halls also, but we just do different things while at BCV. They do enjoy the pool and the campfires.

DD7 loved Community Hall at BWV and SSR. We would take her over to do a craft every afternoon while at the pool. She came home with an umbrella and t-shirt decorated with disney characters, and a painted piggy bank. There are small fees for each craft, but she really enjoyed it.

There is an arcade at BCV, but its small. When we were there 4 or 5 of the machines were broken. We like the arcade at Contemporary better.

FYI: the arcade at Cont is now closed. that whole area is under construction.


I'm pretty sure that OKW has a community hall. Can anyone confirm?

OKW has one, I believe VWL does not. AKV Jambo does not but the Kidani will.

The arcade at the Contemporary is not closed. We were just there this morning. It has moved,however. It is now located on the concourse level, not on the lower level.
