Community Hall Question

This may seem like a weird question but I'll go for it anyways....

I am getting married at Sea Breeze Point in September and staying on points at BWV. We have a break in the afternoon between 1:30 and 3:30 and I was thinking that we might hang out in the community hall and play some ping pong or foosball (in our wedding gear - which is funny I know)...

Can we bring a couple of people in there with us, or is it strictly off limits for anyone staying at other resorts? We have about 5 guests that I think may want to hang out with us in that break time and I'm not sure how the community halls work in that way...

Will they let us bring people in that are staying at other resorts? Is that frowned upon? I doubt anyone will throw us out bodily - I will be in my wedding gown after all....LOL But I am not the type of person who likes to tick people off, and if this is one of those "you can get away with it but will forever be shunned in the DVC community" then I'd like to know in advance :)

TIA for letting me know! It's our first trip home so I want to make sure I'm not breaking the rules!

I think community halls are for registered guests.
Not sure if they are technically only for DVC members or all guests however
I always thought commuity halls were mostly for children.

I have never seen a group of adults hanging out in them.

Have you thought of using that time to get some photos out of the way??

LOL - wellll...we are kind of like big kids...very big fans of ping pong, as well as foosball. Sad but true...I mean, I certainly wouldn't push a child out of the way and steal the ping pong table but would not hesitate to challenge them to a ping pong duel!

And we are planning to have the ceremony/photos/brunch from 9 AM until 1:30 PM so I don't think we'll really need the afternoon time for photos - good suggestion though!

go over to the community hall and ask.

they all have CM in them when they are opened.

if no one else is there - don't think the CM will mind. that say if the place is full - forget it.

that say the community halls are for DVC members. they are only at DVC resorts.

you can go to the arcade.
