Hi,
I was wondering if any of you use walkie talkies and how well they work in and around the parks? We're going "home" for the 1st time in Jan. (!!!) and I was wondering if they are worth the purchase.

The new generation personal radios work very well. We've used several different brands and had better service than we expected. The problem areas are in heavy steel areas, or ones that have alot of other electro conflicts, such as new GM Test Track. Of course you will have others on the same channel from time-to-time.
