Hi All -

We are all Disney Veterans in my family and we usually rent 2 way radios when traveling to WDW.

This November we are doing the land / sea vacation (4 day Wonder on 11.03.02) and would like to know if anyone has any information on renting 2 way radios.

We always use them when we go down through "In-Touch Communications" and they had a 250 mile radius - they were the best investment in WDW, but I believe they went out of business.

If anyone has any information that may be helpful, please let me know.

Hi Lisa,

We own a pair of the Motorola Talk-Abouts. We used them last year on the Magic and had no problems. We have the ones with the sub-channels and never had interference from anybody else. Also used them in WDW and they worked pretty good. The have a 2mile range but sometimes if one was inside it was a little hard to hear. They are pretty reasonable priced too. We'll be using them again this August in WDW at on the Magic.
