Debbi or Deborah
I constantly get Debbie, Debi or Debra.

Well I have the opposite problem. Although my name is not common (Yvonne), the handful of times I've seen it, it is always spelled the same way. BUT, it is rarely pronounced correctly (ee- von'), even by people who know me! Usually I get called uh-von', but I get a fair share of ya-von', too. Then there are people who remember it is spelled with a Y, so it must be... Yolanda! Or they remember it sounds like an E even though it's spelled with a Y, so it must be Yvette! I am so used to it being mispronounced I don't even correct people anymore. It's usually spelled wrong and I don't bother to correct people, just say it correctly, that's all that matters.

We have this poor girl at work who is named, Edwina. One day a lady called to speak to Iguana! Usually it is changed to Egwanda or something like that!
I have had enough in spelling my LAST name all the time that I hated having to spell my first name in addition to it. Not only that, but if people try to pronounce my name they can't even say it (It's pronounced, Maria. But some say Mara, Ma"ray"a, etc) so I go by my middle name, Clare. Sometimes THAT gets mispelled to ("Is it Claire? Clair?")!
