Vent Warning:

99.9% of the people on this board are sooooooooooooo nice.

I've been having a couple people PM me to ask for revisions (without so much as a please) just "I need..." then NO THANK YOU when I PM it to them. That much I can handle but what really gets me is a couple days later they PM with "I need..." (some change in a different design). Can you believe it?

I have now put you on "ignore". You know who you are.

Vent over. Back to regular programming.

I just found this section of the disboard last night and already I am truly amazed at the generosity of all the designers.

I'm glad it's only the .1% that give you trouble, even though that still must be extremly frustrating.

Trust me I understand I have had one person who has sent me a pm no less then 15 times wanting something different each time and when all was said and done wanted it back to the same design that I had done the first time.

Reading this makes me crazy! These are the same kinda people that need to go and read your shirt about "Getting off the back of my shoes". These are the same kind of people that think that Disney World was put there only for their enjoyment and the same kind of people that almost took out my son while waiting for the Jedi thingy at Disney Studios last year after we had gotten there 45 minutes early and they come up at the last minute and try to push their child in front of mine.....EXUUUUUUUSE ME, Could you get a clue? This may have been a bit off subject, but I think you know what I mean.....some people just think they are "entitled" and it drives me nuts!

I mean seriously, the designers here take time out of THEIR day to do this for us FOR FREE. I almost feel guilty when I ask for a design, much less if I need something added or taken away......I mean do these people not get what they are being offered? A one of a kind, unique design for their family to wear FOR FREE!

I want to take this opportunity to thank every designer here, whether I have ask for a design from you or not. What you do is very special and my family appreciates it very much!

Ok....maybe I need to have on that PMS shirt you made Kari , but even still I mean every word of this!

Really not trying to milk any apologies out of any of you wonderful people who don't need to apologize. Most people are so wonderful and it's a true pleasure to change a design for people so they have a design that is just what they want. It's just the handful with bad manners I'm trying to educate. They must not have been taught manners at home.

I just want to add that I am also sorry that people have made you feel this way! I would imagine all the disignors have had this happen to them and it makes me sad.

I have told so many people how absolutely blown away I am by the kindness of all of the people on this board taking the time to make my trip just a bit extra special! My gosh, how great is that?!

All I can say is because of your kindness( and other designers) i'm able to go to disney wearing some of the cutest t-shirts ever. And i thank you for every bit of pixie dust you have share with me. And the memories i'm going to have looking back at picture seeing us in our matching t-shirts.

It boggles my mind at the many requests that appear on this board. I have seen may disigns on here (or on share accounts) that I love. Instead of asking for for things to be personalized, I am trying to do them myself. I am having a ball doing it but it is addictive. I am also trying to figure out how to do some disigning myself (not much luck at the moment rotfl:.

I enjoy seeing what everyone has disgned and am impressed with all the creativity that everyone has. People need to remember that you all are sharing your talents out of the goodness of your hearts. A warm thank- you goes a loooong way when you are not being compensated monetarily.

So to all of you disigners......THANK YOU!!!! You all are so appreciated!

I always feel guilty about asking for a personalized design too, and I'm so grateful to everyone for all the wonderful DISigns!

We returned from our trip last week, and we loved our shirts! We got so many comments!

True Story: DH & I were up the entire night/early morning before we left ironing on transfers. We ironed on the transfers, packed them in our suitcases, got dressed, woke up the kids, and left. You should have seen my husband at 3:30 am throw DS's shirt across the room after he accidentally ironed the transfer on upside down. Thankfully, we had extra shirts.

I had hoped to post pics of our shirts before we left - but we were lucky just to get out the door by 6:30 am! Anyway, I will post pics of our shirts! I want all the wonderful DISigners to see their lovely designs "in action".

Prince Caspian loved our shirts!

Again, I'm so sorry, Kari! I hope you and the other DISigners know how much you all are appreciated and loved! Thank you for spreading the pixie dust and sharing the magic!

I have absolutely no talent in this area. if it were not for the kindness of all you disigners I would not have the cool disigns to make the t-shirts for my trip. So sorry to hear this, Kari. Just wanted to chime in how much I adore your DISigns. Your "Just for Grins" thread makes me laugh everyday! I'm constantly looking through your files and changing my mind on what shirts to make!

I don't think I could do what you and all the other DISigners do here. I feel guilty requesting things. I wish I had some kind of talent to share here as well.

I try to say thank you and tell everyone how awesome you are. But, here's a great big to all the DISigners who have helped me and given me so much enjoyment.

Sometimes I read through the requests and I just have to shake my head. Some folks are flat out GREEDY! I mean, come on! Ask for a design or 2. Not 12! Ask for them well in advance, and don't get SNARKY if your demands are not met! And by all means say please and thank you! I can only imagine what sort of PMs the designers get, since the things posted for all to see are sometimes so mind boggling.

I don't design, but I guarantee if I did I would limit the number of designs I would do for each family. The generosity of the designers on this board is STAGGERING. I don't have the talent or the patience to deal with it, but my hat is off to those of you who do!
