I want to take this moment to let everyone know how much I am thankful to you all. I, too, feel the same way, in that my children, and husband, and myself will be wearing the absolute CUTEST shirts on EARTH!! And its all because I stumbled across this board and how fortunate am I...and everyone else!!! that each and every one of you DISigners are so freely giving of your time to complete strangers!! Each and every one of you continue to amaze me on a daily....hourly! basis with your creativity and wit! I am so sad that you felt the need to vent and I sincerely hope that it was a misfortunate oversight on their part? not that its any excuse. I feel like a poster before me, I always try to make sure and double check that I posted a huge thank you, sometimes posted it twice by accident and feel a little redundant in doing so, but words will never be able to describe how much gratitude I feel for what you have done, just for my family!! I can not wait to see the boys faces as they open their treat bag each day of our trip, and when they open their first one on the airplane and finally realize where we are going! I will try to take tons of pictures for you fabulous disigners, I am sure the pictures of their faces will be worth a zillion words/thank yous!
UGh I get teary eyed just thinking about all the beautiful things I have tucked away already!! And i am working on Halloween and Christmas, too

Anyway, thank you, DISigners, you are so giving, awesome, Patient!!, talented. And so very appreciated by everyone I have come across on this board! And thank you to everyone else who shares your pics of your finished products!

I would also like to thank each and every one of you for getting me addicting to such a fun and rewarding passtime (when my computer's working!!). THANK YOU all for answering my multiple questions, helping me to customize something or fufill any DISign requests I've made. Everyone here does wonderful work and I would have never gotten into anything like this if it weren't for this board.

I cannot thank you personally enough for all of your help! Without you Kari (and Amy and Michelle and Jill and everyone else!) I wouldn't have shirts to wear on our upcoming trip!! I can't even begin to explain my 3 year old's face when I made his birthday shirt this weekend and he got to see it. Him going from staring at the TV to jumping up and down screaming "I LOVE IT!!! I LOVE IT!!!" was priceless! YOU wonderful DISigners gave me that moment and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Again, after hearing complaining about wearing shirts, seeing DH's face when he saw Amy's Start Wars and Indiana Jones lego character DISigns and how "cool" they were and was I sure we couldn't wear them before the trip?? Listening to DS1 scream "DIS!!! DIS!!!!" and "Shishes!! Shishes!!!" (Carter-eese for Fishes!!).

Thank you all. I know you don't hear it enough and I'm sorry for that! I personally apologize to anyone I haven't thanked or asked politely for a DISign. You've all made my heart (and family) so happy I can't describe.

I just wanted to let you (and all the other wonderfuly talented designers here) know that words cannot describe how truly grateful and blessed I am to have found this forum.

The first night I sat and looked through so many designs I was starting to see double! You are all soo very talented and I know give up ALOT of your time to be generous enough to make designs for anyone who asks.

This is our first trip to Florida (from Scotland) and our first Disney holiday. I wanted to make this holiday extra special for my boys and my Mum as its took alot of time to be able to do this. After stumbling across the DIS and then this forum I am in awe of the shear kindness of you guys here.

I know the designers I have asked to help me out have been absolutely fabulous about anything I have asked and I always feel guilty asking for any personalisation, but no-one has ever said no and that really does mean alot to me.

I have so many ideas of things I want to make for my kids and its all down to your talent. I can't wait to see my kids (and Mum!) faces when I give them all there goodies and I will be sure to tell them that its all down to the truly magnificent DISigners on the DIS!

So from me and my family a massive THANK-YOU to you all.

99.9% of the people on this board are sooooooooooooo nice.

I've been having a couple people PM me to ask for revisions (without so much as a please) just "I need..." then NO THANK YOU when I PM it to them. That much I can handle but what really gets me is a couple days later they PM with "I need..." (some change in a different design). Can you believe it?

I have now put you on "ignore". You know who you are.

Vent over. Back to regular programming.

Michelle and Kari are right..................

Most of the people on this board are terrific. The majority are just trying to create a little extra pixie dust for their families.
But I also have been tempted to stop because of a few. I have had people request as many as 42 different personalizations without even the word "please' written once in the request.
Reading this thread has made me (and hope the other designers too) feel appreciated.

You guys must have the patience of Job. It never ceases to amaze me the huge amounts of DISigns that some people request for their trips. I've always tried to find something that has been done and if I can, do my own personalization. That's why I usually am asking for a blank DISign to be posted.

But the one thing I always, always do is to thank the DISigners that I've requested from. It's just common courtesy and good manners. I too appreciate everything that I've stumbled across from this board, and will have quite a collection from which to choose from throughout the summer and fall before my trip.

I want to thank each and every DISigner on this board for sharing all their talents. You all rock!!

I just wanted to say that I think you women are amazing. You all take time out of your busy day to send pixie dust our way. After taking care of the house, children and holding down a job and sometimes dealing with medical issues you ladies are on the computer helping out perfect strangers. I enjoy these boards and I think of everyone here as a friend I have not had the honor to meet in person.
When my computer crashed last week I was upset about losing designs I had saved but I also knew that I could go back over old post to get them back. I missed the laugh I get in the morning from Kari's thread and I wondered if Natalie was doing well. So I just wanted to say THANK YOU. We have been to Disney many times before but this year the energy in my house is on high because of you designers.When my son peeks over my shoulders and sees a new design you ladies have created and he smiles that is priceless to me and I hope that the people that make you ladies feel this way never take that from the rest of us.

Oh, Kari, after all you do and the other designers too, to make our trips more magical...I can't wait to wear all of the shirts that I have done with all of designers help...I have said it before, all of you share your talent with us, unconditionally and now, without a thanks...It hurts me so I know that it must hurt you too...you have blest me with many many designs and I sooooo appreciate all of them...I wish there were more words I could use to say thank you....

Oh wow, you guys are all amazing and so wonderful. It's people like you that make this so rewarding. You know I enjoy doing it so much or I never would spend the time. The fact that I can think about Disney when I don't even have plans for a trip and add some pixiedust to someone else's is so great. I apologize for sounding whiny and you know the rant was not directed at anyone here. You all are what keep us designers coming back here every chance we get.

OK, no more responses now please because I am feeling guilty for even saying anything now that you all are being so nice - I guess what they say is true. THE DIS REALLY DOES ROCK!

PS: Meant to add: I in NO WAY want anybody to feel bad about asking for multiple designs or to be hesitant about making requests. You know, before I started designing I was so nervous about asking for personalizations and couldn't imagine that anyone would be interested in doing anything for me since they didn't know me from Adam. But now I understand that this is a mutually beneficial set-up. It allows the designers to use their creativity in a way they enjoy and people get designs that are different than anything else they will see at Disney. And it really is MAGIC for me when I get even a simple sincere thank you. So, keep those requests coming....(just not the personalizations )

Some people never cease to amaze do they?? I know I have zero patience and zero talent to do what you guys do. I can say that every single one of the Disigns that I have requested have been AMAZING!!! My kids and I thank you so very much for all of your hard work and your time. You have made it possible for my kids to get even more excited about going to Disney for the first time and I didn't think that was even possible!! So thank you again, all of you, for all your hard work. I know I come by this board daily just to admire all that you do. I really wish I had the talent you guys do!!

I often get embarrassed when I see people make requests for 10, 15, 20 personalizations. They either don't care or don't understand the time it takes to do this work and then to upload the pictures and post them back to the Boards.

If it were me, I would probably ignore requests from those that are rude and unappreciative or ask for so many designs.
