Commercials on cable

Have you or anybody you know ever had a commercial run on cable channels? I know it MUST be cheaper than regular TV because the are some small businesses that run commercials on my cable channels. So, what I would like to know is, do you have any idea what it costs? TIA for any help.

It depends on the market, the provider & the channel you want the commercial to air on.

You could expect to pay anywhere from $600-$4000.

Actually, I have run spots on our local cable channel for as little as $13 for a 30 second spot. Of course costs can range up into the thousands for more popular channels and prime viewing time.

And this does not include the cost of production on a commercial.
