Commerative Mickey Ears

I feel like this is such a stupid question...

On the website, it lists commerative items such as the photo stuff, the Champion Chips and the PINs.

In the Program is also lists Commerative Mickey Ears. Am I to assume they just have these available for purchase at the Expo and you do not need to purchase in advance?

It seems for the Princess Half, they want you to purchase the Mickey ears in advance when registering...

The commemorative ears were an add-on for the kids races. Maybe you could register yourself in the kid's races just to get the ears? (make up a fake birthday)
