Comments on TGI Friday's welcome good or bad ?

Have been looking at the web site (yesterday) and the menu looks great,just wondering if anyone has been into the one at the Crossroads lately? I known that individual restaurants vary their menus and would very much like to know what folks think of this restaurant in terms of service , value for money etc. We are a family of three and will be staying at a near by hotel in Palm Parkway about 10 mins walk away (we don't drive) .Checking out other fast food places and restaurants too !!

Haven't been to that one, but over here I think they're pretty bad and I've tried quite a few.

I disagree with gilld.

I have been to many both in the UK and the US and apart from one nightmare server in Times Square (he must have told us gratuity was not included 15 times!!!) I have always been impressed by the service and the quality of the food.

In all honesty I have not been to the one at the Crossroads but certainly the one just off I Drive was excellent when we last went there.

I'd go for it......

We've been to ones in London a few times and I thought they were fine Good sized portions and well cooked. The deserts were great too. Value for money wise I would say excellent. Go for it!

Went to the one in Kissimee in 2004 and it was very good.
Nice atmosphere,good food and value for money.Have to say the food tasted better than when ive eaten at tgi's over here but thats maybe cos i was on holiday and loving everything!

We've been to the one at Crossroads and had a lovely meal there. Service was good and we enjoyed it greatly.

We had our very last meal before setting off for the airport in December.

We preferred the one local to our villa but this one wasnt too bad. Service and food both fine. We do find the one at Formosa Gardens is the best of all the Orlando TGIs though.

The one at Crossroads was undergoing refurbishment in December. There was lots of sheeting everywhere and you entered through a window as the door was boarded up!!! Surely it must be finished by now though?

I prefer TGIs in the UK to that in USA. Somehow I find the ones in America less "American" than the ones here?

Just got back to the forum and want to say THANKYOU to you all for the quick replies We are glad so many of you have good things to say about this restaurant. It will make a big change from the fast food chains, not that we have any thing against burger or chicken places, just nice to have a variety to choose from!
