We are visiting WDW from 1/22-1/29 (me, DH, DD-7 and DS-5. I've changed the schedule several times already, but this is the current plan - I don't have any PSs yet (except HDDR) because we're still too far out.
I'm buying 7 day PHP tickets, so can be flexible in our day schedules (and if by chance we have a warm day maybe we'll go to TL)

1/21 (Fri)
Flight - Boston to MCO - arrive 10:15 p.m.
Need reservation at airport hotel-try priceline

1/22 (Sat)
checkout MCO hotel - get rental car
Epcot
check in OKW (1 bedroom) - if not too tired, either me or DH will do grocery run

1/23 (Sun)
PS for HDDR at 5:00

1/24 (Mon)
MK (try for CRT)

1/25 (Tues)
MGM

1/26 (Wed)
try to get kids on Pirate Adventure
dinner Beaches & Cream
FW campfire?

1/27 (Thurs)
AK (try for PS@Donald's prior to park opening)

1/28 (Fri)
MK - Family Magic Tour at 10:00 (?) haven't decided if I want to try to scheule this or not
1900 Park Fare for dinner (if can get PS)

1/29 (Sat)
check out OKW
Flight home

Any comments/suggestions? I've been to WDW several times (I took kids in 4/04), however, this is a special family trip as my husband has recently returned from Iraq and his active duty orders expire at the beginning of January. We told the kids before he left last year that we'd have a special family vacation when he returned - the kids still talk about stuff we did in April, so I think they'll be excited to show Dad things that he hasn't seen.

I would make 2 suggestions...

I would suggest staying at a WDW Value Resort on your first night rather than the airport and have them move your luggage to OKW the following day. Current rack rates are $77 but rate codes should be released soon for January and they should be around $50/$60 or so. Then you can do an early check in at OKW before heading to Epcot and be on your way before the park opens. They will move your luggage up to your villa once it is ready or you can have them hold it till you get back from the park.

My second suggestion would be not getting a rental car and using a shuttle or limo service to and from Airport (I would recommend Tiffany's) since your not going offsite. Why pay for a rental you won't be using other than grocery shopping? Take a cab and save the money to put towards a show (I'd recommend Cirque De Solei' personally).
