I don't normally post comments about the pod cast, even though I always enjoy it! But, this week I have to say that it was fabulous! I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in a while. I always love the way you all joke around and have the same sarcastic type of humor that I have and love. Can't wait to hear next week (or when ever Teresa does her trip review). I can just hear some of the comments now.

Also, the thread discussion show was great. I often have said some similar thought that you all had on the discounts and the "value" of going to Disney. I also feel the same way about the commando touring. DH and I did that the first two trips and then it got a little looser the next few trips, but now we barely even make dining reservations. The last trip we didn't decide what park we were going to until we were walking up to the bus stop and DD would pick what line we would get into. It was the best trip we have ever had! Highly recommend touring that way!

I stayed up extra late just to listen. Truly wonderul job. When I first saw the "Do You Think Disney Has Gone Downhill" post on the boards, I just knew it was going to be a podcast topic. How could it not?

My family and I are still sort of wet behind the ears when it comes to WDW, but just by reading the DISboards and listening to DISUnplugged, we're learning more and more. We've never stayed on-property or have eaten at any of the table service restaurants (We'll finally have our chance in three months), but at this point, we think Disney is a terrific value. I'm hoping we'll all feel the same way after our post-Thanksgiving trip (I have read some negative things about the food, given the free dining promotions). Yes, at times we grumble about the ticket prices, but we always hand over our money. In fact, I've been researching the ticket prices of other amusement parks (Both local and other "well knowns") and hotels ... I'd rather spend my money at WDW for now.

I truly admire the commandos, but we've never done Disney that way (I'm too much of a commando at home ... I need some downtime!). We do research about certain things prior to a trip, but when we arrive, we always just wing it. This time around, I know I might be a little drill sargeanty: "We have a dinner reservation at Biergarten at 6 ... Now move, move, move!"

I was hysterical when they were discussing the "Xena: Warrior Princess" catcalls! I actually choked and proceeded to spray water all over my monitor!

I cannot wait for Teresa's trip review.

It was a very good podcast this week. Being in Canada I am one of the lucky few to have internet. ;) You know me and the 85 other Canadian's here. :rolleyes1 too funny.
But hey, remember this Pete. The great service you got at Le Cellier ( which is french for the cellar, hence why its like a cellar in there) was from a Canadian.

sounds like a great show this week...can't wait to listen. My ipod will be coming to bed with me tonight!!:rolleyes1

I cheated, I listened to the Forums show before this week's podcast. I'm glad I did, though. I laughed out loud when they mentioned this thread.

My brother is a Cook County Sheriff, works in a jail. We're planning our wedding at WDW, and we're planning a family park day for the day after the wedding.

He is insisting that he is going to bring his gun on the plane, and he's going to bring it in the park. I don't know why-I just can't talk him out of it! As mentioned in the podcast - he's going to be stopping the bad guys. Boy, I can't wait for security to stop him, turn him around, and send him back to his room. :rotfl::rotfl2:
