Commando Club 2016

Calling all commandos! I've seen a few commando clubs but they aren't active as of 2016 so I decided to try to make a new one.
I grew up in a Disney commando family. We moved to Florida because of Disney, I was taken out of school early to go to Disney, and even though fantasyland isn't my favorite, by habit I run there first and get on everything after MK opens. My boyfriend and I went to Disney in 2015, he doesn't exactly agree with my commando ways but it is effective when it comes to getting on rides.

We mover from Nor Cal to FL primarily for WDW some of us no work there even tho it wasn't all of our intentions. I have no complaints living here other than DLR no longer being a weekend trip.

Especially now with so many closures and so much to be built we no longer go commando. We let the kids sleep in, make FPs for late in the day, and then do what we can. There's nothing we feel the need to rush to get to any more. It was nice when we took our time last August.

I couldn't imagine not wearing underwear on a hot day in the MK. May God help anyone who does that lol

Commando touring is something I plan on trying on my trip in September!

I keep giggling over "I grew up in a commando family" and "my boyfriend doesn't agree with my commando ways." Because I am an overgrown child haha.

Commando is our style! We are naturally a family of early risers. In the past, we have decided not not do early mornings, sleep in, and get to the park when we get to the park. We still naturally wake up with enough time to shower, eat breakfast, and get to the park for rope drop.

I'm very similar. I feel like I don't get my moneys worth if I don't ride everything, but sometimes I wish I could slow down and take very thing in that Disney has to offer.

I am definitely not an early riser, unless I am going to a theme park. Then I'm up before everyone else rushing around! Haha

I'm only semi-commando these days now that the kids are grown and out of the house. I do still plan out my days in order to minimize waiting in lines, just not a dawn till the wee hours visitor anymore, more like dawn till 6:00 or 7:00 for the past few years. Back in the day I was one of those moms, standing at the gate an hour before rope drop spreadsheet at the ready!

I too was thinking about a whole other type of commando which I definitely wouldn't do lol. We have toured commando style in the past - the first few trips. Now that we have done much of the stuff many times over we tend to stay all day in MK and HS (love Fantasmic and cannot wait to see Star Wars fireworks). Though last time we went to HS we did every thing by 9 that we wanted to do (early hours at 7am) so we hopped the boat to Epcot and spent the day there and returned to HS for Fantasmic. This trip only 2 days maybe 3 will we spend all day in parks. This fall only 3 night trip and with the newer HS fireworks and AK evening events we will tour from open to close all days. But we will definitely be wearing undergarments lol

We don't usually do commando touring (we have DVC so tend to relax and play more), but this time my brother and his GF are coming for 4 days of our vacation and never been. There will be commando touring for those park days then back to relaxing. Now as far as going commando.....eh sometimes it's nice and breezy
