What are the dates for the December Dining dismeet? Hubby wants me to renew my pass as our anniversary gift and so it might be possible to make it for a few days depending on airfare. Is anyone sharing rooms or everyone getting their own?

That's great news!

I think everyone will be there the first weekend of December (7th & 8th), with most of us arriving a day or two before that and staying a day or two after.
We are still in the planning process for DISmeet options, but should be able to send you something soon.

Next we have the final update from another reporter, Krista (aladdinsgirl), who's trip also ended yesterday.


She said, "We just got home from WDW! We were supposed to be home around 10:00 on Saturday night, instead we pulled into our driveway at 1:30 am Monday morning! Our flight Saturday night was delayed 3 hrs, which put us leaving Orlando at 11:00 pm. We decided to stay an extra night, and then our flight tonight was delayed as well. Mickey really wanted us to stay!"

And now for our First Update of the Day was sent to us this morning by StuffedwFluff.


Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party



She said, "I forgot to send you the update about our experience at the Wishes Dessert Party on Friday night. This is our second time doing it and we love it. We booked as soon as it opened so we got an amazing table. We didn't even have to stand up to see the fireworks, it was right against the railing."






















"The desserts ranged from amazing to just okay. The chocolate dipped strawberries are always the size of your face and sooo good. The cheesecakes are always a hit with me, the tarts are just okay though. The ice cream station is fun and the cookies and brownies are soft and delicious. We didn't try everything, there is just way too much food to even think about eating."












"The fireworks were beautiful and it's so nice to view them from a balcony without having to squish with a bazillion other sweaty people. I will definitely make this a tradition."

Their first Disney meal of the trip was lunch at...






Here is what they had...




Surf and Surf Burger - Crab Cake topped with fried Popcorn shrimp, tomato, lettuce, and cajun remoulade on a brioche bun served with coleslaw or house-seasoned fries


"Surf & Turf burger was pretty tasty."

"Got no comment from the sullen teen as to quality of this."





"Thomas got a bleh pizza....

"Isadora had a pork sandwich but devoured it before I could get its beauty shots.

"I had the Honey Chicken, which was as delicious as chicken deep fried and covered in sweet sauce COULD be! The cucumber salad was sooo nice."






"Charlie got the Kung Pao Chicken, which he had last time. And proceeded to eat all the seeds inside the peppers."




"And we skipped dessert at Nine Dragons so we could hit the China F & G Festival booth...

"On Sunday morning, Mother's Day, we had breakfast at the House of Blues. It is now called the Kirk Franklin's House of Blues Gospel Brunch and this was the first ever. I believe Kirk Franklin will choose all the performing groups."














"We had made to order omelets (both in the first pic) and all kinds of good brunch items including cajun type items you would expect from House of Blues. Also desserts like pecan pie and banana bread pudding."
















"We saw Paula Stevens Jones and the Ambassadors of Praise as we all "went to church" good food, good music, and good times."

Ooooooh, another December hopeful. I am really hoping to be able to go. DH and I are seriously planning for me to (assuming of course that I rejoin the working world!). I had wondered about sharing rooms as well. I'd be up for it if someone wanted to!

Love all the updates! Never thought of the HoB brunch before and now it is on my radar!

"I had the tuna noodle salad. It was a little spicier than I expected but still good."







"Rhiannon and I split the creme brulee and strawberry shortcake which were both sooooo good. The strawberry shortcake was about half the size it was when we had it in 2009 but still a good portion."

"Gosh that cheese soup..... Yum. I love those big potato dumplings too. Most of the meat items I tried were over cooked. I didn't have sweets but the girls said the apple strudel was great and Jack had two cups of vanilla pudding."
