"We ate at Via Napoli for the first time and really enjoyed it. We always make an ADR here every trip and always end up canceling it. I'm glad we kept the ADR this time, even though it was pouring rain and had been pouring rain all day. The food was very good, the service was excellent, and of course I can't complain about the attractiveness of the servers.

"White Wine Sangria. My first time drinking sangria. It was very good. I really appreciated our server offering me a to go cup at the end of the meal to take the leftover with me (we ordered a pitcher). Yes, I walked around World Showcase drinking sangria from a kids cup. Classy!"






"Fritto di Verdura. Very good, light batter even though it was deep fried. I know there was for sure zucchini, potato, eggplant, and asparagus. There were a couple more vegetables Stephen ate and didn't mention what it was."








"Prosciutto e Melon in the largest size. For 2 people. Yes I was embarrassed ordering such a large pizza!! Obviously we did not finish this and I have 2 takeout boxes in the fridge now."








"Kids Spaghetti & Meatballs. I tried a bite, really good. The sauce had a nice flavor, not too sweet like I remember Tony's Town Square being. I thought it was a large portion, Carter ate until he was stuffed and only ate about half."


"Unfortunately we were too full for dessert! Hopefully next time!"

We are leaving tonight but staying in Lake City, then driving the rest of the way to WDW tomorrow. Can't wait to start sending in my updates!

Krista said, "Really good. I had the sticky bun, it was basically a cinnamon roll with caramel and pecans. Stephen had the egg biscuit. He really liked it and said he's getting it again for sure. Carter had the cinnamon roll. He didn't like it, but he's very picky. I loved the refillable mug station being free standing. Much easier.

Fried Herb & Garlic Cheese

"I think this is a boursin cheese (at least, it used to be but the menu doesn't list the actual cheese). It's served with a raspberry sauce and toasted french bread. It also has green apple slices and grapes."


"I'm so glad they brought this back! The cheese is warm and gooey and pairs perfectly with the raspberry sauce."




"For my entree I selected the...

"Today it was grilled mahi mahi topped with mango salsa and served with coconut mashed potatoes and broccolini. I've never had coconut mashed potatoes; these reminded me of a sweet potato casserole with coconut that you often see served at Thanksgiving. This was an enjoyable meal with the grilled mahi mahi being a lighter option than other items on the menu."

"They brought out an amuse bouche that was a simple puff pastry with cheese on top. It was a very light pastry but really didn't offer much flavor."







"For my appetizer I opted for the lobster. The menu lists it as Maine lobster with sauteed mushrooms, mollet quail egg, and creamy black truffle. There was also a small crouton under the quail egg. This was a very enjoyable and flavorful appetizer."







"I selected the seared scallops for my entree. Listed as seared scallops with vegetables, cream of cauliflower and ginger lobster consomme. There were quite a few bite-size scallops that were perfectly cooked. A delicious dish."





"The highlight of the meal was yet to come!...




"Le Moelleux: warm chocolate and almond cake with raspberry coulis in the center, hazelnut crust and hazelnut ice cream. Incredibly rich and worth every wonderful bite!!"



"I thoroughly enjoyed Monsieur Paul. The wait staff was very attentive. The server said they just recently made some changes to their menu over the past week. One thing he noted is that their bread service now includes a selection of breads rather than the baguette they previously offered."​

Have a great trip Gabzee!!!

I'm bummed that I just cancelled Monsieur Paul last week since I really couldn't see eating an escargot amuse bouche and it looked like they had done away with the souffle. The rest of the menu didn't stand out to me but I may reconsider..... thank goodness for this live dining thread to help with these types of dilemmas!

i really shouldn't have opened this thread as it really makes me want to return to disney for memorial weekend. i really shouldn't go but i really want too.

the table of contents is impressive! i skimmed through it and can't believe i ate all that food & lived to tell about it.

i'm really intrigued by the lobster roll @ boardwalk bakery. rachel sent me a picture. i'm curious to see if it's anything like the lobster roll at food & wine. that lobster roll was absolutely delicious. but this roll is twice the price...wonder if it's twice as big then? maybe i should just go & find out, right??

Landscapes of Flavor


She said, "Hi Barb! We have made it and as we speak are sitting in LOF having lunch. DD3 and DD5 are having grilled cheese sandwiches with fries and apple slices (they split the sides), and chocolate pudding for dessert. Of course the pudding is the only thing they are eating! "













"Mom had the BBQ sandwich, chips, and some sort of marshmallow treat. She likes the sandwich but doesn't care for the chips or dessert."








"I built my own salad, with chicken, cheese, bacon bits, and croutons. It was great! The chicken was much more tender than I expected. I wish the CM hadn't put quite so much dressing on it, but no big deal. The chocolate croissant was amazing!"







"DH had a burger, fries and pudding, which he is devouring."






"Ok, waiting for DMIL to arrive on the ME bus, then headed to Magic Kingdom!"
