I posted a bit earlier how i'm coming to Disney solo! I'll fly in Sunday March 6th and trying to decide when my last day should be. Thursday or Friday. I can either get 4 park tickets or 5. Getting 5 park tickets is more cost efficient, and only $10 more than doing 4 days. But adding the hotel and flight makes it a bit more pricey. I'm coming alone and a little worried i might not have enough to do, but disney is huge, so that shouldn't be an issue, right?

I've had four trips so far that were 4 days long. In every case, I always felt like there was more that I had wanted to do but just didn't have time. But in the cases where it was a solo trip, by the fourth day, I would also be tired of being by myself and use that as an excuse to plan another trip at a later date.

I guess this is going to vary by individual, but it also depends on what's on your list of things to ride, do, see, and eat. Five days would just give you a little time to just relax too, without having to rush all day... maybe spend some time in a lazy river or go tour some of the other themed resorts.

You're right though: that $10 ticket does come at quite an additional cost for lodging, food, and more. But how often do you get to be at Disney World solo? Unless it's something you can do frequently, maybe it's worth it just to have a more relaxing vacation.

You will definitely have plenty to do for 5 or more days.

On my first solo trip in 2012, I was there for 5 nights/4 full days because it was my first solo trip anywhere and I wasn't sure how comfortable I would be. I've gone every year since, and I've increased my stays to 6 nights and now this year I'll be there for 7 nights/6 full days - and I am still thinking, "I don't have enough time!"

Only you can decide how you feel about the extra expense, or touring by yourself for several days, but you will not run out of things to do.

Whichever length of stay you choose, start planning with your absolute top must do priorities. Get those accomplished, enjoy whatever else you get to do, and try not to sweat what you miss. As soon as you get home, start planning the next trip. ;)

I've done solo trips several times and even after 5 or 6 days, I still find I've missed some things I've wanted to do. Have a great time...I'll be there myself part of the same time as you.

I'd say add the 5th day and maybe add a tour in somewhere mid-trip where you are with the same group of people for an extended period of time and have a chance to connect.

I am in WDW between 3rd-11th March too.. I will be on my own (for quite a bit of my trip) so should you fancy a meet up let me know! Always happy to meet fellow DISBOARDS friends!
Have a fab time and just enjoy the moment! Whilst i am usually with my family or friends I am often doing things on my own and its great. Personally i would get 5 days.. four for each park and a 5th for any extras you may want to do or revisit or if you wanted to just take more time in getting round the parks. You will never run out of things to do!
Have fun!!
