Comfy shoes for my DH!

My DH wears deck shoes whenever we go out (movies, shopping, etc.) and will only wear athletic type shoe for sports. He will absolutely NOT wear flip flops! Sooo...do any of you men have a suggestion for comfy shoes that my DH might wear for our 6 days at WDW?

Dr. Scholl's makes really good sneakers. They have made DH so happy. We have found them at WalMart and Meijer's.

Land's End All Weather Mocs are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I have a few pairs that I wear all fall and winter so when I was going to DW, I bought a summer pair and I wore them every day of my trip. They make them for men, women and kids. You can get them online or at Sears. Try them, he'll love them!!

Another Vote for Land's End Mocs...for fall or winter. I love their Sea to Shore shoes for summer. I keep hoping they'll go on sale for end of the summer,but I'll pay full price to get a new pair for our trip in March!

The black mesh at the top and sides lets the foot breath or if you have been on a wet ride lets them dry. Hikers use them. I got mine reight before we left and took them with us(brand new). I have back, leg, and feet problems so I also took the old standbys. The standbys never seen the florida sun. I put the Eccos on and went all day for a week with no problem, new and all.

OMG!! Amyg!! sounds JUST like my DH! I finally talked him into flip-flops(he always thought they were a girl thing an they looked stupid on men) and made him buy a pair of REEFS and now he just LOVES them! maybe if you buy some and give him no choice?? he might like them if he tries them!

Believe me, my DH will NEVER wear flip flops or any other non-covered footwear outside our home and we live in HAWAII! Of course he comes from a farm in Ohio, he's pretty conservative and there are certain things he will not change his mind about and that's one of them! He even wears his deck shoes when we go to the beach! LOL!

that is what i like about the ecco's they are make of net to where it looks like normal shoes but lets air in around your feet and if they get wet they drain and dry quick.

We saw the ecco's and my DH said they are too "Avant-guarde" although I really liked the looks of them and will probably buy myself a pair!

Try some rockport walking shoes.. they look good and feel good, but donn't look like runners.
