I am looking for shoes for my wedding day. I have had plantar faciitis and a heel spur for two years. At the moment I manage it with a night foot splint, stretching and not so nice shoes with good arch support. Definately not nice wedding shoes. I want some nice shoes for a change for my wedding.

So I need good shoes that I can be in for a few hours, they cannot be completely flat as this is also bad for my feet. Wedges are the best as they keep my feet in a more neutral postion and are more stable than a heel. Though a good study, chunky heel also has the same effect. What did you wear and were they comfortable?

Any suggestions?

I got my shoes from My Vintage Sole online. They are the most comfortable pair of heels I own (and I own a lot). They custom build them, so you pick the style, fabric, and heel style/height. They have a few 1- 2" styles that have a larger base. I also love Sofft shoes for support, but they don't really have wedding style shoes.

Gentle Souls by Kenneth Cole are amazing, but quite $$$. I bought a pair of flats to wear in WDW, and a pair of wedges (somewhat disguised as pumps) that I wore to our welcome party and when I dressed up for signature restaurants. I seriously felt like I was wearing comfortable runners, so thery are really worth the money!

Thank you for this tip even if I can't find something for the wedding here there are definately some that I can use for work and others. I did not know about these from Kenneth Cole. :thumbsup2

This is a wonderful site. They are closed for the month of May though. I love the Joyce shoe.

Hi,
I would suggest you to buy flats because they are very comfortable and you will be standing for almost 3-4 hrs which becomes very difficult if you wear heels.
