Comfortable princess dresses?

Thinking of having my girls wear princess dresses to the character meals, but don't want them walking around in those itchy, stiff costumes. Can anyone recommend where to get a soft, comfortable Disney princess dress? Thanks.

We got my DD a dress off ebay that was a princess type dress, but stretchy and comfortable. She wore her shorts underneath it. After breakfast we popped in the restroom ,took off the dress and put a tshirt on. I wouldn't want to wear any princess dress all day.

Target and Walmart in the toy dress up area have princess dresses. They feel more like nighties. I even saw some little girls in the nighties from Disney store for their dresses with clothes underneath. At first I didn't get it but, when we left the restaurant, they took it off and it all made sense....pics!!! They did it for the pics! Smart moms, I say!!!

We have purchased dresses from here and they are VERY comfortable for the girls. No itching, etc. Very inexpensive and pretty good quality for the price.

I always buy my girls the cotton Minnie Mouse dresses. The princess costumes are just too cumbersome, IMHO. An added benefit is that the dress can be worn many times over, even to school, is machine washable, comfortable, able to be worn around the parks, and not every other girl is wearing them. We've got 5 or 6 of them now in different sizes and they are great.

We bought our DD5 one from Wal Mart and are planning on just putting her clothes on underneath it. I have also gotten a package of the thin cotton undershirts for a back up which she wore under it while trying it on she loved it and told me no more itchies. Have a magical trip!

I got dd a set of the My Dress Up trunk princesses dresses for our trip a couple years ago. LOVED them - she was so cute AND comfy.

We also have gotten the dresses from My Dress Up Trunk and loved them. No itchies. We also got dresses from Lillian Vernon this time and they do not itch either.
