Comfort Suites Universal South

Okay, here I go again :O)

Found the Comfort Suites at Universal South 9350 Turkey Lake Rd. Rate was $63.00 for King Suite. Would like to know if anyone has stayed here before. I USUALLY have good luck with Comfort Suites, but wanted to make sure.

I am still looking for a nice hotel, great pool for under $100.

Do you need to be near Universal??? If not and want a CS, I would look at the CS Maingate East on Hwy 192. It gets better reiviews than the one listed and is closer to WDW.

Best price is usually on HotelMartUSA.com. However, the Choice Hotels website offers a best price guarantee. So, you book on the Choice website, then check the price on hotelMart. If it's less, then you contact Choice Hotels, and they give you that price less an additional 10%. You can also do that w/ the one you were asking about.

Well, my hubby has a contract with Universal and needs to work there 3rd shift, so I thought it would be convenient. I tried to book at the 3 hotels at Universal, but they are all sold out. I did try HotelMartUSA.com before I found this deal on choicehotels.com, which was about $30.00 less a night than on HotelMartUSA. I am still investigating :O)

I really appreciate the reply. I usually have good luck with most Choicehotels. Plus, we belong to Choice Privileges so we can at least get points. The company may have another hotel, but just in case, this would be fine. I want more of a suite type room with microwave and refrigerator since we will be there for 5 days.
