has anyone stayed here? how was it , good/bad? it is a good price for a suite and i have looked on trip advisor but there is only 1 picture, and the reviews are a little mixed lol, and where abouts is it located to the parks?
thanks

It's main drawback I think is it's a ways from the parks. The manager used to post here though and seemed he really cared.

thanks, we are also looking at homewood suites which is further, but the comfort inn will save us over $280 for the 6 night stay. just wondering if it is worth saving teh money or just stay at homewood suites

i am also looking now at desert inn and suites across the street, it will be $146 cheaper for the 5 nights then homewood suites and then we do not have to take tha ART , but not sure about the sofa bed, how comfy etc and the continental breakfast.

That manager has left, it is quite a way from the parks but you can catch the ART. As I understand it they have really good priced family suites, but for me the distance would be the deal breaker. If you want a cheaper place that is closer then look at Anaheim Plaza, whilst it does get mixed reviews, by far the majority feel the hotel is good value for money.

We stayed there (Comfort Inn Maingate) Sept. of 2007, we had a kids suite which was great, but it is too far away for us to stay there again. We stayed @ Desert Inn & Suites last April ~ the breakfast was awful, the room was fine, the pool wasn't anything exciting, loved being right across the street. We stayed @ HoJo's last Dec. and we're staying there again next month ~ I love it there.

Breakfast at this hotel is horrible. Rooms are old feeling and the whole place seemed loud, although we were in a corner by an elevator/stairs.....prices are hard to beat for so close tho! They did have fridge so maybe you could bring exra items to help out filling the void in breakfast they serve?

thanks everyone. I did end up booking with desert inn and suites, i am going to give the continental breakfast a try . We dont ever eat a big breakfast anyway lol. I am hoping the rooms are nice and clean .
I am hoping that we are not near the elevator, i am calling again later as i want a email confirmation and i will ask not to be near stairs/alevator.
