Hi
Has anyone stayed at this place recently? It is on 9330 Irlo Bronson Highway. We need a place to stay 1 to 3 nights before going to Disney, and this looked like it might be alright. DH and I don't need anything fancy. Just a place to sleep and shower. Our trip is in January.
Also, would anyone recommend making reservations ahead? Or could we just take our chances? :confused3

Hello fellow Canadian,
Never stayed there but you could try tripadvisor.com. They list reviews on hotels by people that have stayed there and give the good and bad comments. Very helpful site.

If you stay here, ask to not be in the back units. They are the ones that back up to Black Lake Rd. When I stayed at Silver Lake, we would drive by them. That area is not well lit, looks kinda overgrown vegetation wise and kinda creepy to me.

Have you looked at Comfort Suites MGW? It is in the same area and looks nicer to me, at least on the outside. Never been inside either one.

Yup, I have stayed there. It was 2 or 3 years ago but it was perfectly fine and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. They had a free breakfast at the time which you could take back to you room while you got ready for the day. Rooms where cleam and quiet.

Not sure what else I can tell you but I would go back.

Kim

Thanks for your answers. I will look into trip advisor, as well as Comfort Suites. Hockeychic: if it's good enough for you, it's good enough for me! :goodvibes

We stayed there in March 2004 and it is a good cheap place to stay. It is a bit farther away from the parks, but the rates are a bit lower too normally..I recommend making a reservation as you never know what convention might be in town when you go and they might not have any rooms left. We used the hotels sight and got better discount rates..... :sunny:

Thanks for the tip. I never would have thought about conventions. So, the closer I get to our travel date, the more I will firm up our plans. :goodvibes
