I am considering staying at either of these hotels. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you :)

My mom loved Four Points. I have seen some negative reviews about Comfort Inn LBV. Why don't you do a search on these hotels. There is a search feature at the bottom of the page. Good luck!

I have been looking at alot of hotels on line and reading reviews.
Comfort INN LBV is getting a bad reputation, but so are alot
of hotels in Kissimmee.

Try Biddingfortravel web site that gives you information on what
hotels go for using Priceline and you can probably stay in a lot
nicer hotel for a cheaper price.

Best western LBV in Disney Village has lately accepting bids
for $28 a night and this hotel is on Disney property.

I've stayed at both hotels. The Sheraton is a long ways from the WDW...at least I thought it was. I stayed there for one night and it was just ok for a nights stay.

The Comfort Inn LBV is very close to Downtown Disney and it only took 5 mins to get to the entrance there. It is your typical chain hotel, but I got my room for only $30 AAA and couldn't beat the price. Again it was for only a one nights stay. The room was recently refurbished with new bed spreads and curtains. We had a refrigerator, microwave and hair dryer in the room. It was clean and they had a great mini-grocery store inside the lobby area. Our check in was late at night, fast and courteous. I had called two days before checking in and requested a first floor room, parking lot view....which is great because the grounds are beautiful there. The other side of the hotel faces I-4 and would not like to listen to the highway traffic at night.

I liked staying there, and for that price can't beat it. I have booked another stay there for Dec. Again I got the $30 AAA price. You can go to their website and see if they are running any Value prices for the time you are there.

Good luck!!!

I too have stayed at both... both actually through Priceline...
As far as quality of hotels, they are both about the same. Location-wise the Courtyard is obviously better. So, it all depends on what you are looking for in the price you are paying... neither one are that great of hotels, but I expected that at the price I paid via Priceline ($20 at Four Points and $25 at Courtyard)... I have only stayed at the Courtyard once and at the 4 Pts. several times -- I would stay again at either one if I can get them cheap again. I thought the Best Western on Hotel Plaza Blvd. was a lot nicer than the Courtyard, and have also stayed at Hotel Royal Plaza as well on Hotel Plaza Blvd. (all with Priceline)... HRP is the nicest of those mentioned, then BW, and then Courtyard a dismal 3rd.

I don't think the original poster was asking about the Courtyard,(the Comfort Inn, I think) but I would definately agree with WDW Lover's assessment of the place!

Oops!!! I had meant to say Comfort Inn LBV.. but my husband sidetracked me, and then I forgot what the heck I was talkin about! :D

Anyway, I have also stayed at the Comfort Inn, LBV, and it too is okay... basically the same as the others.. nothing fancy, but adequate. They recently remodeled all of the rooms -- which is nice because now all rooms have refrigerators, but 4 Pts. does as well. I believe the Resort Fee that they charge at Comfort was $6/day as opposed to 4 Pts. which was $4/day (I am trying to remember correctly).

AND, actually, if you stay at the 4 Pts. it is NOT really farther away. You actually are within 3 mins. drive of AK if you take the shortcut right after McDonalds off on the left by the Holiday Inn... from the Comfort it would take a good 15-20 mins. to get to AK. All the other parks would probably take the same amount of time from either hotel.

I guess if I had my choice, I would pick the 4 Pts. -- it's right across the street from a Taco Bell, a Goodings Supermarket, and Burger King and McDonalds are less than a min. away, and there is ultimately less traffic going there if you take the AK route every time -- not a lot of people leave the MK and start heading toward the AK and the AK Lodge, so you tend to get there fairly quickly. The rooms are about even... so that would be my only deciding factor.

If you are thinking of going those routes though, you might as well give Priceline a shot! You won't get anything worse than the 4 Pts. if you do a 2 Star in the WDW Area only -- and you can get it for $20 a night with no add on bonus. I have recently done a Priceline for 2-1/2 stars and received the Best Western on Hotel Plaza Blvd. on 2 separate occasions. Both times were only for one night and one room. The first time I got it for $30/night + the Priceline fee of $5.95. The second time I tried $25/night + the PL fee of $5.95. I could have been very lucky though... but the other choices for 2-1/2 Star hotels are very much worth the $25-$30/night as well -- and I am sure it is less than you were going to make your reservation for at the 4 PTs. or Comfort Inn anyway. So you might just give it a shot and see what kind of deal you can get. I probably wouldn't bid less than $30 for a hotel in the 2-1/2 star category unless you have a long time before your trip (you can try again after 7 days), or less than $20 for a 2 star (we have also done a 1 star, but in my opinion, the $$ you have to bid on those isn't worth the difference in quality, or the location of the hotels). We have also done 3 star and gotten decent results (the Hotel Royal Plaza - $35 + $5 add on, and the Summerfield Suites - $35 + $5 add on.. and I think the Sheraton Safari also was a 3 star, $30 + $5 add on -- I sure miss those add ons!). And once, before they added the resort category, I did a 4 star and got the Swan for $60 + $10 add on -- of course that was the best.

Well, so sorry to get so carried away. I hope this helps anyone that is interested in the scoop on hotels! I do have several other PL stories to tell if anyone is interested they can email me!

Stayed at the Comfort Inn for 2 weeks in Sept 2000.
$35/night inc fridge & coffee-maker. Clean, average sized rooms. As previously stated, 5 minute drive from Downtown Disney. Acceptable drive from all theme parks.

What we really liked was the 5 minute walk to the Crossroads restaraunts.
TGI's, Perkins, Red Lobster, Chevy's, Pebbles, Olive Garden to name a few.

We had rooms above the swimming pools, but were facing I4, and were considering asking for a move. However, they have very high water fountains running in the gardens - presumably to try and offset the drone of the traffic - and we actually had no problems at all sleeping.

For a budget option I would recommend it.
