I've seen the reviews for the CI-LBV and currently have a ressie there for one night, 12/14 ($44.96 plus tax), after we leave onsite and before we head to my sister's in Okeechobee. I see that there is a QI-Four Corners in Davenport, and the room rate is only 3 cents more per night. It is right off I-4 at exit 55, at the I-4 Hwy 27 intersection. Anyone ever stayed there or do any locals know anything about it? The Choice Hotels website make it look pretty OK.
One thing I did notice is that the LBV takes 6,000 ChoicePoints for a free night, and the QI takes 10,000 Points. I assume that means it's a nicer place? Also, the QI has a hot tub good for soaking the tired feet and the CI does not.
The last reason I am considering the QI is that it puts us a little closer that Thursday morning to Okeechobee. It's only 13 miles, but after driving down from NC and several days at the parks (and about a half gallon of expensive gas - LOL), 13 miles is 13 miles!!!
So, does anyone know anything about the QI? What would you do? Thanks!
Edit: after checking Trip Advisor, seems the QI was until recently a Holiday Inn Express. 3 of the 4 reviews were fovorable, but I'm looking for more if you have any. Thanks!
