Hi, i have booked for the comfort inn at lake buena vista for sept 07', any body else experienced this hotel??
any feedback welcome,
cheers steve

Great hotel just make sure you ask for the parking lot side when you book if you like some peace and quiet when you get to your room or you'll see and hear alot of traffic on I4  We are going back next year for our 3rd stay at this hotel!!

Cheers wifey for the reply, we were planning on emailing for a top floor room with views over disney, as on some review site's they show some good pics of the view over epcot,
steve

Steve stayed at the Comfort Inn a couple of times,I think you'd better take some bino's for that view over Epcot tho' :lmao: Seriously though for the amount of time you spend in your hotel the Comfort Inn is great. We have stayed in one of the kids suites (don't know if you're intrested) & have to say that they would be ideal for a young family. The on-site restaurant isn't too bad with some nights the selection being better than others but you are only 10-15 mins walk from a whole host of other eateries.
We've always been facing "in" so never had the noise of I4 but you definately hear it around the pool,by the way one is heated & the other not. On the whole we would stay there again without any worries!
HTH SD :woohoo:

:scratchin We stayed there last year. I have read a lot of varied reviws but here is my honest opinion. The room we had was not that clean. The carpet was old and tatty and equally unclean. The maids did hoover every day but the hoovers wouldn't pick up whatever was on the floor. The guys in the neighbouring room found exactly the same thing. Their carpet was filthy etc.
We spoke to a guy in the lift who had a pool facing room (ours overlooked the carpark as I had requested, to avoid traffic noise) and he had been coming back to to the same hotel room for years and years. He absolutely loved it and said he had no problem with his room.
It's very obvious to me that some of the rooms are great and some are bloody awful. Shuttles are pretty good but if you want to go to Universal, you are limited with the return time, and the Disney ones get you there a little late.
Bathroom is v tiny, taps were dodgy, evrything was just pretty shabby. People were using the swimming pool frequently, don't think any of them died of anything.
Reception area very nice, as were the staff, and location was pretty useful.
If you have any questions , please fire away.

We always tip house keeping about $5 a day or there abouts and we have no complaints about the room. You can often see the fireworks and lazers from Disney at night from this hotel!!Lots of local food places etc :goodvibes :goodvibes
