Please share your experiences if you've stayed here...do you recommend it for accommodations while visiting WDW?

We stayed there last summer. I would NOT stay there again. The first room they gave us had exposed wires from the TV and the deadbolt had been broken (i.e someone has smashed it). The second room they put us in had ummm "matter" on the bathroom walls.:scared1: (I could go on and on). We ended up leaving.

We stayed there in March, booked three nights, but only stayed one. Found it not to be the cleanest, the breakfast was not great, had a parking lot room and it was noisy.

We were there in October...2 nights. It was OK...we enjoyed the pool and the proximity to DTD. We had a Travelzoo $39 rate, but would probably only stay there again for 1 night, max.

We met people at the pool there who come for a month every year, and had nothing but great things to say about the resort. The grounds were well maintained. I didn't like some very specific things, stepping out of the bath seemed trecherous, nothing for me to hold on to, the sinks were so very low, and the room was dark even with all of the available lightbulbs on.

Hi, we stayed there for a week last December and that was 7 days too long!! It was not very clean and the rooms were in bad repair-curtains hanging from 3 hooks, dirty bathroon, and uncomfortable beds. We should have checked right back out after we checked 4 rooms to find one that was clean. I would not go back--ever.

I just cancelled after reading all the bad reviews here and on Trip Advisor. I got great rates from Travelzoo - but I need a clean room sans bugs. :thumbsup2

Keep looking, try Hotel Kingdom . com, Mousesavers . com, etc. for more options. The Dis has AWESOME rates on Buena Vista Suites, which includes breakfast!

Just zipping this downstairs for you:)

We stayed there for 2 nights in June of 04 before checking into Disney and it was OK. Our room was on the opposite side of I-4 and you could see the fireworks form Disney and Space Ship Earth. We ate breakfast in the restaurant and it was crazy in there but the food was OK. It was an OK hotel and served its purpose. Our room was very clean and well maintained. This summer we needed a room for 2 nights before checking in at Disney and are going to try the Comfort Inn main gate any reviews on that one.:)

Thanks to all of you who replied about your experiences staying at Comfort Inn. I think it has helped solidify our decision to NOT stay; this trip has been too long in coming to risk having it marred with unclean or bug-infested rooms. We are looking at Quality Inn Suites as they offer a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom suite with kitchenette facilities, and this seems to suit our needs the best. I welcome any comments from any of you who have tried their suites. Thanks again for taking the time to respond, kind people!!

What dates are you looking for? we stay at the Courtyard by marriott across the road from Comfort Inn LBV, 10 times better than Comfort Inn. In August we are paying $75 rate for 8 nights in a suite then a $55 rate in a std room for 17 nights. these rates include tax and free wireless inroom internet.
How much was the Comfort Inn rate?

I would have to agree with the majority and say you have made a wise decision. It seems as though we weren't the only ones to have dirty rooms and bad experiences at this hotel based on this thread.
