Come watch a great Middle School Band Performance

DL locals, DL Podcasters and DISers visiting DL on Friday, May 15, please consider stopping by the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree Stage at 11:55 a.m. to be serenaded by our fantastic Middle School Band. Dartmouth Middle School's Symphonic Band will be performing for about 30 minutes. They are a very talented group of young musicians and you will be happy you made the effort to hear them!

Danneen, where is the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree Stage? I can't place it off hand.

To be honest, Jeff, I don't know for sure, but I guess it is just over by Big Thunder Ranch where they do the barbecue. It always used to be in Carnation Gardens where it was a bit more obvious to other guests. I was sad to see that close.

The Jamboree area is a separate area behind the petting zoo (and BBQ) where seasonal events are held. Back in the day, it was the Festival Area where a Hunchback show was held.

They have some tarps strung across the area for shade, but it's a large area and not completely covered.
