I am off on Sunday and will be able to post some items then- Wow! I may actually get my garage cleaned out! LOL Oh & we have a storage too! - I am not a packrat but I won't throw out "good, reusable by others items"- Every year I used to have a huge cleaning around October and thekids & I would put all of their toys no longer being played w/ (but still in GC) in a box and drop off right before Christmas for the battered womens shelters- (since many kids are also there and end up not having a Christmas if the "Dad" was out of the picture and mom can't report to work as regular since they have to go into hiding)- My kids actually love doing this- We will still have to put away things for those kids but they will love seeing trades as well-

I have a ton of makeup I need to get rid of. Its all been opened and probably used once or so. You know how you accumulate a lot and you always go back to using the same stuff you always use? Prime example of what has happened to me! I know some might think its gross to stick it on here so I'll just try it out for a bit and see if anyone is interested. it would be good to use if you dont mind someone else used it first, or good to play around with-- whatever you do with used makeup! LOL. I just hate throwing it away when I know im not going to use it again and theres plenty of life left in it. I wont list it all on here cause there is TONS... so just PM me if you might be interested. I probably have some small polishes as well (nail).

Of course, he wouldn't be seen in public with a Disney shirt! What was I thinking? They are a men's size medium and never been worn. Tags have been removed because I had hopes of him wearing them, but no such luck. Things I am looking for are:

I've not visitied this thread for a while, but as soon as I saw Kellyscraps ( I think her username was actually Kellyscrapbooks) hadn't sent her package I was wishing I had been over here more often. I think you will find she was banned and I think you can all figure out the reason why

Did you or the others ever get your trades? I'm personally waiting myself. And hopeful there's some reasonable explanation.

Thank you for alerting us about the list Nutsy; misricsmith is on it too late for me, but not others.







For two months in good faith, i gave misricsmith the benefit of the doubt. I've had many great trades here so i rationalized why she didn't send her trade (illness? vacation? no computer? crazy busy life?) But as soon as she rec'd my package, (sent priority mail, receipt confirmation) she even began ignoring my PMs.

Even if for some strange reason she didn't like them, there was no communication to that effect. They were 'brand new with tags' Cinderella PJs from disney store. I also included a few little toys for her other kids. In one of my unread PMs, i said if she didn't like them, she could return them and still keep the little things for her other kids. No problem! But nothing, no reply to my un-read PMs.

The bright spot is that the DIS still ROCKS! I love how everyone sticks together! Thanks soo much and for ALL the support, even people i've never traded with.

Since some of us started posting about being burned, other PMs have been sent and actually read by the offenders - so 3 weeks ago misricsmith sent one saying she'd only been home at that point for vacation for "5 days"!? But still nothing about keeping her part of the trade, only anger about what others had said.

Eh, whatever. C'est la vie. As my dad ALWAYS says, "Some people are more to be pitied than despised".

That is such a shame, I'm sorry to hear that. Some people are unbelievable but I too am waiting to hear from my trader.

I think we should make a list here of those who don't follow through!!!What a lousy thing to do, beyond rude. I know most of us are totally on the up and up but I'm always so saddened to hear when others are hurt!
Please keep us posted.
