Rates a bit higher than I had expected/paid in past for my October trip

PIT - MCO

10/1- 10/8

$138 pp down, $123 back

next...

Just a note for the record: Southwest released the schedule extension at approximately 6:15AM eastern time today (Feb 18, 2016).

$122 down, $162 back, PHL. With Early Bird it's $3 more total for the 2 of us than last year. Got the Wanna Get Away rate for both legs.

PWM to MCO
Aug. 19 -27
Aug. 19th - 6:10am arrives at 11:40 am with 1 plane change in BWI
Aug. 27th - 11:40 am arrives at 4:10pm with 1 plane change in BWI

No non stop flights out of Maine offered.

$172 each way. I paid with points....so it was 9727 x 2 = 19454 points.
plus I got early bird so I paid a total of $36.20 with the taxes.

Better than JetBlue for those dates which was over $600! The cheapest on any other carrier was $450. So overall happy and I got decent times too!

8/18 - 8/26 BUF - MCO $137 and $120 Non Stop. Not awful but certainly not cheap either!!

Just a note for the record: Southwest released the schedule extension at approximately 6:15AM eastern time today (Feb 18, 2016).

site was so slow & glitchy for me today using IE on laptop & an ipad to point where I watched the fare bump up on way down while checking out resulting in approx $20 more pp.

stinging a bit more than usual since yesterday I booked two RT tix/same route on Allegiant for $200. Unfortunately, their schedule wouldn't accomodate this trip, only fly a few days a week into MCO since coming to town here last November.

MHT to MCO
10/5-10/11
122 Nonstop Each Way

I wanted 10/10 (Columbus Day) return but that was 192 so cheaper to stay.

I overslept and wasn't online checking prices until 6:30am. I ended up making the purchase on my phone via the app - struggled with website so I switched.

We are going 9/3 to 9/8 and there are only three flights leaving on that Saturday...plus the flights are so much more expensive! Please tell me they'll go down and add more flights.

The BWI-MCO rates are pretty high for the end of October. I checked to get an idea as we are going mid-November. The rates I saw were alll $300+ round trip. A lot more flights with 1 stop or connections too.

10/26 to 11/1

Buffalo to MCO, $120 each way, non-stop

We were pretty happy with the price but not thrilled with the times we got.

It definitely makes the trip seem real, though!

Buffalo to MCO....9/28 to 10/08.... 120 each way....would of like a later flight going home but we'll keep checking for those flights to drop a bit. Was about $70 more pp to fly 4 hours later.

PHL to MCO $122 down $132 back October 2 to 14. I was miffed, darn SW had only 3 direct flights, one the crack of dawn, one late afternoon, and one late evening. All others had one stop, anywhere from Atlanta, to Nashville, to Chicago. For such a short flight, I will always pick the direct. Guess I should now check American. USAir was the sole FLA one for so long, the other airlines don't want to rock the boat too much. I wish SW would make us a hub.

Hoping to see even a lower price before October. I can live with what I got so far though.

Booked BWI to MCO. Aug 17-27
I am happy with $83 pp each way non stop and for the times we wanted. Wanted to go PHL to MCO, but the rates were $39 more each way and the times were not great.

Booked with points for DM and DD girl's trip Oct 8-15 from Indy. 7090 points each way ($123) but times are very early. I also booked with points to Cancun for that week for DH, DS, DS friend, and myself...12880 points each way but was super bummed they did away with all the nonstop flights from Indy and Columbus to Cancun!!

I only booked PHL to MCO on 8/16 on the 7:05 AM flight with points for 7,000 ish. I was really annoyed that the latest non stop return on 8/23 (a Tues) was 2:30 and its sold out. The one before that is 11:20. We're basically losing an entire day no matter which of those I book. So I didn't book anything. The latest flight leaves at 7:30P with an hour layover and change of planes in Atlanta getting into PHL at 11:30P. Waiting to hear what my group wants to do about that.
