Took my new camera last night down to one of my favorite local spots to try it out. I should probably start by saying that thanks to Tropical Storm Eduardo, it was extremely windy on the water, making it difficult to hold the camera still, and there was a heavy sea mist in the air so I had to keep cleaning the lens. I used a small tripod in one of the night shots (the inn).

Anyway, hope you enjoy! :sail:

Great pictures..thanks for sharing them here.

It certainly was a wild day on the coast yesterday.

Nice shots. I like to see areas of the world I probably will not get to in my lifetime. Thanks for posting.
Watch out for that sea spray. Saltwater is worse than regular water. The salt keeps corroding long after the water has evaporated.

Cool! My Hometown. I love the Weathervane Resteraunt! My personal favorite is the Lobster Hut though. Werid seeing pictures and knowing exactly where everything is.

Linda, great shots! I particularly like the one with all the row boats jumbled around the dock.

What kind of camera did you get?

As a fellow New Englander, I LOVE these photos!! What did you get for a camera??

Excellent job! I love photographing Plymouth. Though it has been a long while since I've taken the camera down there. I grew up in the next town over (way over, in Wareham) I have a few nice sunrise pics I took about 15 years ago from the Govenor Bradford Inn (I think it where it was), now if only I can get my film scanner to work.

I'll have to remember to add Plymouth to my short list of local places to bring the camera on a free day.

Great shots and I second the watch out for salt water spray warning. Looks like you had fun with the new camera and now (for some reason) I am craving lobster and salt water taffey.... :rotfl2:

LOL, I understand. Last night at work I had a turkey dinner myself. ;)

Thank you for your comments everyone. I'm glad you enjoyed the photos!

This HP bundle. As a longtime happy HP camera user, I liked the idea of another HP for ease of use and familiarity, and know that I can take nice shots with it. I was planning to add the 4X6 HP photo printer to my home office anyway, and when I saw the bundle for what I was planning to pay for just the printer, I couldn't resist. So far, I love it! (I actually found it cheaper on walmart.com, and saw it at an even better price at amazon.com if anyone's interested).

Aww, your photos make me homesick! I lived in Plymouth for 11 years.
