Not to hijack Buffy's thread, but he was trying to clean out the little screen in the cold hose for the washer. Well, the whole pipe broke off in the wall. His answer at first was to stick his finger in the pipe
But I guess he figured that would be much help when he needed to go to work last night. So, he had to let it gush as he went to find the main shut off valve. Then it became the whole send DS16 to Home Depot...twice...to fix the 5 min home repair.
Oh, and the kicker...he says "I was just trying to do what you asked and get the cold water to flow into the washer better"
So, I guess it's really my fault

When our water doesn't flow well, it's because the filter has too much sediment built up.
... I hate going down in the "dungeon"!!
