Come on VMK, make a dream for EVERYBODY

Dreams month is 2/3's over, and I see LOTS of people still waiting for a pair of ears, or ANY dreams item for that matter. Come next weekend, these frustrated kids (and most likely a few adults) will be putting in a last-ditch effort waiting for or hunting for a host. It could get ugly...

Would it have been so difficult for VMK to let everybody have at least ONE attainable way (quest or purchase) to get at least ONE dreamy dream item (ears?) on their own?

Kudos to the staff who started letting ears recipients "regift" ears to friends, but only a very few benefit from this tactic. Is this regifting being allowed because VMK doesn't plan on letting the ears be tradeable in the future?

Keep the masses happy I say! Please VMK, figure out a way to make Dreams month end on a high note for everybody, not just those who happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Well said, and I agree. The only thing my daughter and I wanted were the ears, and I got mine unexpectedly while she was in school. She has been on vmk MANY hours and no luck. I know some other kids from our circle of friends who also still do not have ears. I just want them all to be happy! I would love to give my daughter my ears, (of course we can't even do that) but she'd be far happier being there for the surprise visit from a host and get them herself. Well, here's wishing good luck to everyone, with dreams month winding down I hope those who are earless will be in the right place at the right time very soon!!!

I really think they're going to be made tradeable after this month. Staff have kind of hinted at this, and it just makes sense to.

I have been lucky enough to have gotten all the new dreams items except for the Logo pin and the room.

But, I have also received 3 pairs of ears. Now what on earth can I do with 3 pairs of non-tradable ears?

Even if I were lucky enough to be in the room to get another pair, I don't know who doesn't have any yet. So I wouldn't even know who to say to re-gift mine to (if I'm not afk at the time).

I've also been trying to get my main boy account a pair of ears this month. He has yet to get anything. So I know it's been difficult for many to get anything.

Maybe we should have a thread with a list of DISers that haven't gotten any ears yet? Then maybe some of us who get lucky again could know who to send ears to?

Since when does VMK ever do anything that makes sense?
Purple Superhero is still not tradable.
Diver's suit is still not tradable.
They made Red Spacesuit magic non-tradable.
They keep making players change their names even if they've had them for more than 2 years.
They keep telling us to ignore players who are using profanity by dictionary dancing.
They keep banning people for the slightest offense but never do anything to those that scam over and over again.

Shall I go on?

I still don't understand why they haven't done any quests this month for any of these items, especially a reasonably difficult one for the room. How many epcot rooms does everyone have?

Dreams month is now officially lame in my opinion. Because people i know on my list. They have like more then a pair of ears. And pins, and sets. And i have had no luck this month. Especially since its not fair.

While I dont like how this month has turned people against each other and caused a lot of jelousy, I think what's really wrong with this month is the players...

Hear me out. For the past several months we have had nothing but port games... and I think at some point durning the month everyone had won the host pin,and many had won a zillion of them...

But go way way back...

Not everyone used to win. You have one, maybe two shots a night at playing a host game for anything of worth. How many times did we all try and spin to win inferno. Some host pins used to be rare... Grand Califorinan... Yeti 3/5... Haunted pins... (Club33 pins dime a dozen... Ezra, way on the rarer side)

If you were not able to complete all 3 days of the purple baseball quest, you didnt get all the costume... although at least you could trade for them...

But at this point we DONT KNOW if at some point we will be able to trade them. I think it is wise to have them not tradeable now, because think of how much those prizes wouild have fetched on the open market the first week... WAY TOO MUCH.... Now I am Not saying they are not tradeable now, but for all I know it could be. ( Ihope I am right)

It seems, while not everyone has won something, a lot have. And if everyone won, it might as well just be sold in the Emporium.

Yes I would love to see the room availble on a quest. Even a hard one. But according to Mocha Nothing Dreams related will be availble after this month.

I REALLY HOPE at the end of the month it all becomes tradeable... I think for a lot of people that will take the sting away... a chance to trade for the items.

I think the items should remain untradeable... that way there is no "value" to them...

But I do think that the last weekend should be ride a thon or something for ears, pins, room- were it is one per character and anyone who logs on and takes the time to do the event gets the ears.

I don't really have a complaint about the event- I've actually missed sitting around in rooms and talking with friends and this is something I've done quite a bit this month and even made a few new friends I probably would not have met...

But I have spent way too many late nights on the computer trying to get ears for my kids... and they are still earless, pinless etc...

So yes- I'd love to see the end of the month be some simple way to get ears so they could have them...

So much for an ''great'' dreams month, all its doing is making kids waiting countless hours in a room just waiting and waiting for a host to come.
