I need my tickets for DTW - MCO, June 23! I also need a one way ticket from Vegas to Orange Co in July, DTW-BNA in July. DTW to Providence in August and one more DTW - MCO in Aug.

SWA HURRY UP. My traveling companions need my flight info soon. Don't make me go to NWA (PLEASE!)

I feel the same way. I've been waiting and waiting and waiting. In our Sun paper it still says they are accepting reserv. thru 6/6. UGH!!!

We also have been waiting. It has been driving us crazy because we have a credit that we have to use by the middle of the upcoming week. I guess I'll book something and then end up cancelling it again.

We are checking daily and I called today the woman I spoke with said it should be soon. Good Luck everyone getting your flights.

I'm glad I booked through AA instead of waiting for SW. I can't believe they still haven't opened the dates yet. It is going to be a mad rush to get the cheap tickets when they do.

Try calling SW and ask for an extention. They may give you one if you tell them you are going to book as soon as the new dates open up.

It is slightly odd that here were are mid-February and they only have their schedule out through June 6. Never having really watched the whole SWA date release stuff, that does seem a little strange to only have 3.5 months of flights open to booking. Do they do this all the time? 3 or 4 months at a time or something like that?

dudspizza, thank you for your suggestion. My husband did call this morning, while I was out buying Valentine's presents, (who me last minute??) and they did give him an extension. Lucky he called because what he didn't know is that we should have travelled by tomorrow. I would have been pretty upset swallowing that money. Thank you.

::waiting less than patiently here too!::
need good fares for mco in august and bna in july... C'MON SOUTHWEST!

Right on! I have no experience with SW, but had seen it mentioned elsewhere that they would offer an extension.

SW baffles me. The cattle call seating scares me to death, yet the way their run their company and the customer service are excellent. I for one will surely give them a try if they go to some sort of assigned seating... or when my kids are older.

I have flown with SWA no fewer than 10 times. For business, and for leisure. The seating has not ever been a hassle for us. When I'm travelling for work, quite frankly, I don't care if I get to sit next to the VP, you know? :rotfl: And when we are travelling as a family, I just make sure to allow plenty of time to get a good boarding group.

Their customer service has always been top notch. Only about 2 months ago, I was on the phone with them 48 minutes before one of our software developers was scheduled to take off, and he was still sitting in our office. The rep could not have been any nicer or accommodating, and got him rebooked on the same flight, the next day.

Oh--and I am anxiously awaiting some October dates, so I can try to decide between SW, Song or JetBlue.

I finally gave up and booked on AA. I bought round trip for the end of June/July for 225.00 LAX to MCO.

They are gearing up to add Pittsburgh to the list of cities. Every time they add a city, it seems to hold up the works a little

rumor has it this week..... *fingers crossed*

that was last week's rumor as well! LOL! (if you analyze past history, it should have been last week, i think)

when I called Saturday and talked to a rep, she said, "should be any day now" :hourglass
