Come on "Kids Free" deal!!! Who is with me? :)

I just got an email from my Disney Visa that they are offering kids free until Oct 31st - 4 night min stay.

I received this same email but after crunching numbers with 2 kids, it is not as good as the % off deal currently running.

Still hoping for the 4/3 deal. :surfweb:

do you think this will become a public offer? I do not have the Disney Visa, but I may have to talk DH into it!! :lmao:

According to the Disney Visa website, it says to hurry up on this offer before it is released to the public (and there are a limited amount of packages). So I would think it would be released to the public since they worded it that way.

I just checked with an agent and the 25% off pin I used to book our 7 nights at Pop w/ 6 day Park Hoppers is $50 cheaper than if we changed to the kids free offer. It was worth the call to see if we could save a bit more. Thanks to all the posters here for the tips on saving $.

Last year's Disney Visa deal was a bit better since it included the dining plan too in addition to free park tickets. I think we'll wait this one out.

Disney Visa Kids Stay & Play FREE Package

Disney Rewards Visa Credit and Debit cardmembers can purchase a Magic Your Way Vacation Package that includes room and theme park tickets, and children age 3-9 can stay and get a theme park admission ticket FREE. This offer will be available to the general public soon.

Maximum of four Guests per room.

Thanks to Small World Vacations for info.

Since neither the AAA or Visa offer have dining included, I am going to wait for the public offer and HOPE that it is included then. Maybe the AAA and Visa booking numbers will be so low that they will want to add an extra incentive.

dining included would be amazing!!!:worship:

We have the Disney Visa and 2 kids whose ages fall into this, but the 25% off we currently have at the Poly is still a much better deal. Fingers crossed that we can somehow get 35 or 40%.

Same here. A percentage room-only deal would benefit us much more. But I'm glad to see disney is releasing deals! Hopefully more are coming.

I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know if this deal applies to the campground? I thought maybe since there is no dining attached it might count (wishful thining).

If memory is serveing me correctly, I think in the past the offer would come out with Disney Visa first and on a Thursday and then Disney would announce it as a public offer the following Monday which should mean it should be announced on Monday January 3rd !

it didn't last year, but you never know! here's to wishful thinking!

We have 5 kids, but only one of them is in that age range.
We were planning on renting a pool home anyway, since it's much more economical for a family of 7 and I like the idea of having more space and our own pool.
But I've been keeping my eye out for any discounts that might make it worthwhile to stay on-site.

No sure it is a better deal than free dining. My family is doing a GG and only my brother family has 2 kids (DN8 and DN6). He has a price of $3000 at the WL w/base tickets and free dining. I'm thinking this new Visa package will only save him the kids base tickets around $500. Once you add a dining package back on the cost goes over $3000. Am I right?

it is usually the best deal only when you have several children. It will save us about $950 because of the tickets. Free dining would have saved $700. My kids eat like birds so the dining plan is not the best for us. It also depends on where you stay. Sometimes a room discount can save you more.

So I'm a Disney Visa cardholder and I've got the 3-digit offer code...does anyone know how I can price out dates/resorts on the Disney website using the code? Or do I have to call and talk to a CM? I even went thru the "Book Now" process to see if I could key in the code there but no luck. I swear I've figured this out before but my memory is hazy. TIA!

Since it is only the child/children 9 or under passes which is actually free, just price out the vacation with the child/children incl, and then without that child or children which qualify for the promo and you can see the difference/amount saved.

You have to talk to a CM or have a TA talk to a CM.

If you want to find out how much it'll cost online, just get the price of the package without including the kids 9 and under. Of course this only works if you don't want to add dining and also doesn't tell you availability, but it'll at least give you an idea of your price for the category of resort you want before you phone.
