Judging from past January offers I would say there isn't much of a chance for free dining, but since Pleasure Island will be closed, one of the water parks will be closed, and it's sometimes too cold to take advantage of the other water park anyway, maybe we'll get some pixie dust and be offered something new instead of the Water Parks and More option for free.

I'm hoping over here too! We are booked for December with Free Dining but really want to go January 5th- 11th. In December the kids would miss a whole week of school but in January only 3 days.

Disney should offer a great January Special for the sake of my children's education

FYI if you are thinking of going anytime from jan 9-11 call and secure your room at rack rate - its marathon weekend and its selling out quickly!

We are going Jan 5-10 before our cruise and if a good deal comes I would be happy to go Jan 3-10!!

We are booked for POR from January 10th - 16th. If Disney would give us free dining, you will hear me whooping it up all the way from Canada!!

In all seriousness, ANY discount will be welcome. The room, the dining, the tickets......heck, we'll take anything. I just wish they'd end the suspense and release a code soon. All this waiting and hoping is starting to wear on me....

Just an FYI.....we went last January....and the codes didn't come out until October.

I'll guess that would be about right for this year as well....all the current offers I'm seeing must be booked by September 27......for stays through late December. So they'll finish up with these and then a week or so later they'll start with the codes for January/February. I can't remember if they included March as that wasn't part of our trip so I blocked it all out.

For what it's worth....the codes for Jan/Feb weren't all that great so we ended up staying off site and had a lot more space and a lower price than even a value!

I'd love something to beat my AAA room only discount, but I'm not holding my breath. Free dining would probably be the only thing that would make me mess with the reservation at this point, and I'm betting that won't happen.

For our past three trips, we've gone in January and got the free ticket upgrades. I'm counting on those again this year, but I would ECSTATIC if they offered me free dining instead.

Please tell me Disney has offered room discounts in Jan!!!! I might cancel our plans if it's only a ticket upgrade. I don't give a hoot about ticket upgrades! I only care about the room or FREE dining!!

We're booked, (room only), at Fort Wilderness cabins for Jan.2-9. I used AAA for a 20% discount, and I'm pretty "ok" with that. But, if I could get free dinning on top of that, woohoo , I'd pretty way more than "ok"! We're a party of 10 this trip, although 3 are under 3yo. Free dinning would be a BIG savings!!!!
