While I was getting the room situated, the boys headed to the pool. This was a non park day while we were waiting for my DH and DD to fly in. It was nice to have a little down time and not to feel rushed. The boys soon remembered this may be their only time to go to Disney Quest so they decided they better head to DTD to get it in. It was wonderful to have the ferry from this resort to DTD. It really is a plus for those of us staying there. My son was “worried” what I would do while they were gone. I simply showed my camera and told him I would find something to do so off they went.
Finally alone I started from my room and worked my way around the resort with camera in hand. I was at “the back” of the resort, so you will see the walk as I go to the main buildings. It took about 7 minutes to get from our room to the main area.
Our room was a few steps from the quite pool which was great! The main pool was crazy crowded since it was springs break. Our quite pool usually had a couple of people at it which was really nice.
We learned quickly that pool towels are only available at the main pool. There are towel collection containers at the quite pools but if you want a towel ask for extra from mouse keeping or go and grab one at the main pool before enjoying the quite pool.
I am one of the strange people who love the tame wildlife at WDW. This little guy just stayed with me at the pool, I wasn’t feeding him or anything,..okay I did talk to him a little. I thought for sure he would let me pet him.
Fun signs are posted along the paths so you can find your way…
This bridge was about the half way point to the main area…
