Come along on our Spring Break Photo Trip/Dining Report 2012! Update 9/12 Epcot

I am so excited to read more. Your photo's are great. I am itching to get back and am trying to decide between Port Orleans or Corando Springs. :)

While I was getting the room situated, the boys headed to the pool. This was a non park day while we were waiting for my DH and DD to fly in. It was nice to have a little down time and not to feel rushed. The boys soon remembered this may be their only time to go to Disney Quest so they decided they better head to DTD to get it in. It was wonderful to have the ferry from this resort to DTD. It really is a plus for those of us staying there. My son was “worried” what I would do while they were gone. I simply showed my camera and told him I would find something to do so off they went.

Finally alone I started from my room and worked my way around the resort with camera in hand. I was at “the back” of the resort, so you will see the walk as I go to the main buildings. It took about 7 minutes to get from our room to the main area.

Our room was a few steps from the quite pool which was great! The main pool was crazy crowded since it was springs break. Our quite pool usually had a couple of people at it which was really nice.

We learned quickly that pool towels are only available at the main pool. There are towel collection containers at the quite pools but if you want a towel ask for extra from mouse keeping or go and grab one at the main pool before enjoying the quite pool.

I am one of the strange people who love the tame wildlife at WDW. This little guy just stayed with me at the pool, I wasn’t feeding him or anything,..okay I did talk to him a little. I thought for sure he would let me pet him.

Fun signs are posted along the paths so you can find your way…

Nice shots. Love the area grounds of Riverside I do have to say. One of my other favorite things was getting up for breakfast at the mill. I've seen my kids grow up inside that mill before my eyes. Makes me sad to know their almost to old for it now. Great picture of the duck. We saw many animals on our last visit as well. Outside our building was a watery area that had otters in it.

Welcome to my TR!! Between POR and CSR.....ouch! First of all, I'm a hotel snob. I really look at all areas of the hotel. I really liked the theme of POR. It was clean and beautiful. CSR out of all the moderates, to me, had the most deluxe feel to it. I really liked the grounds and thought it had an upscale decor.

I really think Disney does wonderful at following the themes in the resorts, so if it appeals to ya, go for it!!!

popcorn:: I'm along for the TR!

Yea! Glad your with us!

Oh I'm enjoying this! Taking a break from studying for a math midterm I have Monday and this is just what I needed!! popcorn::

Now, do you have more so I don't have to go back to studying?:rotfl2:

I am fairly new to the site and especially to looking at trip reports. Trying to decide which resort to look at and your pictures are beautiful! I'm along for the ride now. :)

Kids are never too old for Disney...at least not this kid!!;)The duck was so cute. He just followed me around for about 10 minutes. Should have bought him home!

Tired of fighting the glare of the sun in the middle of the afternoon, I gave up and headed to downtown Disney to meet my boys...stayed tuned...

Such great shots! I love the one of the boat heading under the bridge. Oh you are making it so hard to decide where to stay! I have the Poly booked, but am thinking of switching to POR or POFQ. Your pics are starting to nudge POR in the lead :)

I'm joining in!

I love all of your pictures. I like to take lots of pictures on vacation also.

Can't wait to hear more!

Thanks so much!

Wow!! I love your pictures so much!! I'm defintely subbing in! :goodvibes

Yea and :welcome:!!

Haha, you're telling me? I'm the one paying! That might also have something to do with a moderate pushing into the lead ;)

I see your point! $$$$ make a huge factor! We are not in our rooms that much so it's hard to pay just to sleep and shower!! Let me know what you decide.

Your pictures are so pretty - thanks so much for posting them :goodvibes

Is there any such thing as too many photos? Not here I don't think popcorn::

Thanks so much! I did tone down on this trip and only took about 8000, I promise not to post all of them!!! Several have already made it to the recycle bin on my computer!!

wow you take some really gorgeous pics! And yes I noticed the kitchen sink at the main pool too and had a good chuckle. It was nice running into you just for a minute.
