Comcast or WOW for Internet Service?

AT&T does not offer high speed internet in my area. I'm trying to decide between Comcast or Wow? Anyone have any experience with either service? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

What's Wow? I have Comcast, and sometimes it seems slow - but that may just be my expectation of what 'high speed' internet is. I expect, based on what my brothers told me for all the years I had AOL, that everything would be instantaneous, that pages would load in the blink of an eye, etc.

The latest issue of Consumer Reports seems to rate WOW as one of the best internet companies.

I see the Wow and all I can think is "world of warcraft offers internet service?"

I don't know anything about WoW, internet or game. We have comcast. They offer us a package deal. I think when we priced it out, it was $60/mo for just internet. We have cable so the package saves us $20/mo on the internet. I haven't had any issues with it, had it for 5 yrs here and 2 1/2 when we lived in Michigan. I can only suggest if you do go with them, buy your own modem. I think they charge you like $4/mo. You can buy one for about $60. It'll pay for itself in a little over a year. They rarely go bad. We've replaced one and found out after the fact that it wasn't the modem that was bad. We've had the present one for about 4.5 yrs now.
