The whole east coast from what I am reading on facebook...
I can't imagine shopping cyber Monday on my iPhone...
But at least I have the option if it comes down to it.
Way to go Comcast!

One Facebook friend in MA just asked via phone on Facebook, so I was able to tell them it wasn't just their area. Thanks.

Another in FL reports no trouble.
 
It has something to do with the DNS server. A friend of mine walked me through some changes and I am now running off googles server!!!
changed my internet protocal DNS settings to 8.8.8.8
 
I hope they get it fixed soon for you....especially before tomorrow so that you can get those cyber Monday deals without having to use the internet on your iphone.
 
Mine was out for a couple of hours but seems to working normally again now here in CT.
 
Mine just came back on. I was beginning to have anxiety over Cyber Monday shopping. Hope it stays up or they're will be a lot of unhappy comcast customers.

Mine just came back on too and I was feeling that same anxiety, lol.
 
haven't had a problem tonight, which is unusual. Generally, if there's a problem anywhere in comcast's system, I'm definitely experiencing it.
 
I'm glad to hear it's not just me. Luckily, I have a Verizon MiFi, so I've been able to get on with that. Comcast seems to come and go tonight. I hope it comes back soon so everyone else can take advantage of tomorrow's offers.
 
Mine was acting funky a little while ago. I was like WHOA whats going on
 
Mine was out for a few hours in VA. I restarted my router several times before I figured out it wasn't just me.

Internet service has been restored to Comcast customers in Massachusetts whose connection to the Web was down for a few hours tonight, according to the company.

The scope of the outage was not immediately available, but anecdotal reports suggested the interruption spanned from New England down to Washington D.C.

Telephone and cable service was not affected by the problem, said Doreen Vigue, a Comcast spokeswoman. She said she could not provide any more details on the outage, but apologized on behalf of the company to affected customers.

“Everyone is up and running,” Vigue said. “The problem has been resolved.”
 
Our cable tv had issues all weekend- we lost HD service. And now they have no idea why that happened. We still don't have it and now I have to wait for the 4 hour window for someone to show up.
