Hi! Does anyone know if we can use the 25% off tickets for Canadian residents AND the room rate discount that is scheduled to come out on Monday, October 3? I already have a room Reservation at CSR for early March. Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes, you can! It's a great way to knock off the price of your trip, good luck tomorrow morning. You might find this information handy BTW --- from a poster on the Resort Discount and Codes board who knows the in-and-outs of all things discounted related. He also suggests finding what you want, booking it and then cancelling the other if your original offer doesn't have the "modify" (or whatever it's called) option. You can then wait till the rush dies down and cancel your current booking.

The range varies WIDELY between midnight and 9am...I'm not sure that has ever been a known fact either, there's always good rumors out there about release dates (or published public release dates once a visa offer comes out like this time) but the actual time it will become available has never been made available. Sorry - best answer is to wait up until midnight...if not then, wake up at 5am and check again, and keep checking until it's released. If it's not available by 6:55am get ready to call right at 7am, lol.

Hello,

From my calculations, combining the 25% off tickets + RO discount will in most case be a better deal than SPD.

Can I add the discount to a current reservation or do I need to call Disney to add the discount?

I just booked for March 8-11th. My first choice was POR and DH first choice was CSR. Well I had to book CBR because nothing except suites were available for CSR and POR was 45$ more expensive than CBR and I with our dollar, I cannot justify that difference.

You need to CALL!!!! I was extremely frustrated with the system & I'm exhausted -- been fighting with the stupid system since 4:30 this morning but just had amazing success! I finally called using this number #407-560-2428 and used the technique of Yelling (ok very forcefully stating) Agent and then hitting zero repeatedly and my call was answered within 5 minutes. Told the wonderful CM that i wanted to move my girls from Movies to POP but it isn't showing online --- know what she gave me???? She pieced together what she called "A Canadian Ticket & Dining Package" at POP and I'm saving $176.44 from our original reservation at Movies! it wasn't even showing rooms open at POP online under the discounts online! She did a change to the existing reservation so I'm not even out any extra money!

I agree that calling Disney directly may be the best option to combine discounts. I had a Magic Your Way package at Beach Club for mid-March, which I had booked months ago. I was waiting for this current discount to be released to decide if I would be further ahead to switch to a Room only reservation and pick up the tickets separately using the 25% off option. But when my wonderful Dreams Unlimited agent spoke directly to Disney yesterday (after being on hold with them for who knows how long), she was able to get the room discount plus got Disney to honour the 25% off ticket price right within the MYW package. For my family of 4 this saved me $1000 ($500 off the room and $500 off 8-day park hoppers) and means that I don't have to deal with voucher codes on MDE or show my passport to Disney guest services when we first arrive at the park. Highly recommend calling Disney in person as getting the Canadian ticket discount applied to packages doesn't seem to be available online.

The CM I spoke to mentioned that you need to provide proper ID for every guest when checking in to avoid people making a reservation and then having non-Canadians joining you..... we both had a good chuckle over that.... so I'm not sure if you still need to show ID the first time you enter a park, you should ask when you check in to avoid getting to a park and getting that surprise!!!!!

Good advice! My travel agent assures me that we shouldn't need to show any ID at the park entrance but, since we'll be heading to Epcot directly from the airport on our day of arrival, I'll be sure to keep our passports handy, just in case :) But I definitely don't mind a bit of potential inconvenience to get such a nice deal!

Does anyone know that I can take advantage of 25% off ticket for Free Dining package?
Thank you!

You can combine room only discount and ticket discount. But free dining is a package deal: non-discounted room + non-discounted tickets.

I'm posting this information in several places to help my fellow Canucks out! There have been tons of questions floating around about the current room promotion ....
I have cracked the mystery folks!! The last time we were in Disney for an extended period of time my Kindle did a forced update and ever since has been "American" i can't make it a Canadian model anymore (gotta love those forced updates, NOT) ANYWAY, i was double-checking prices on it in bed and it kept reminding me that I would need CDN ID upon check-in and that my credit card needed to be attached to a CDN address. I had an Epiphany and this morning I asked a close DIS-er friend price out the same package and it was $384.36 MORE.
So well it's not saying on-line that it's a CDN price, they clearly have already taken the discount off the ticket price, winner-winner, chicken dinner!

You can see the costs if you do a comparison between all the options.

For example, 2 adults, Feb 23 - Mar 4, All Star Sports, 10 day ticket with park hopper:

Regular Package with Dining - $3569
Room, Ticket, Dining (Separate Full Price) - $3518
Room Discount, CDN Ticket Discount - $2943
Stay, Play, Dine - $2858

If you get a RO discount and buy the park tickets at 25% off, can you link the tickets to your room and add the Dining plan?

Yes, but you can't add dining on the WDW site, you have to call Disney, and request dining be added to your room only reservation.

Happy travels.
