Is it possible to combine Annual Pass, TWI, and DVC dining discounts?

With the rumored changes to the 2011 DDP, I began wondering if there was another way to save money on meals.

I love the convience of the DDP. My DH loves not seeing his $$ leave his wallet. (I know its a false illusion because the DDP even in its current form saves very little and is essentially a prepay method)

But I got to thinking. If the rumor does hold true that the dessert will be deleted from all the dining plans and the price increases as well, I cant justify the prepay plan any longer.

More than likely we would continue to purchase dessert, just maybe one or two. And I know we could use TWI for these purchases even if we continued with the DDP. But the way I see it, why pay for DDP if I cant use another dining discount and order what we want. Be able to share some appetizers or meals and still save money.

I can see the rumored changes from Disney's perspective. For Disney, to delete dessert, delete the refillable mug, and increase the price of the plan in general is a profit gain. Because some people like me would continue to order appetizers or dessert and just pay out of pocket for them.... so Disney sells more product and makes more money. Also in Disney's quest to be a healthy eating leader, deleting dessert equals deleting calories from our diets at least in theory. But mostly I think Disney is not so much concerned about my waistline as they are the fullness of their pocket

Also remember .... when they deleted the appetizer from the plan... we all complained that we wanted the choice of appetizer or dessert. Well now we have the potential to have neither if the 2011 DDp rumor holds true.

So the original question.... can I combine, DVC, AP and TWI discounts when dining with Mickey?

You cannot stack discounts at Disney, so you would not be able to use all three of the DVC, TiW, and AP discounts at any one restaurant for a single meal.

With the limitations of the DVC and AP discounts, your best bet would probably be to use the TiW discount.
