Combining different UY points for ABD or Disney Collection?

I'm just about to sign the dotted line on a 2nd UY. I'm aware of limitations combining points from multiple UY on DVC reservations (any given night must be covered by one UY only) -- but are there similar restrictions if using the points for ABD or Disney Collection (hotel) reservations?

I don't know the answer to that specific question, but it seems like, at worst, you could always transfer from one contract into the other to do it. (Only once per use year, though.)

Spoke w/ MS this morning. The suggestion from MS matches marbuke's idea of transferring points between the two contracts. However -- this will not work if I'm hoping to aggregate points using banking as the banked points can't transfer.

Looks like my 2nd UY add-on is a NOGO. I'm stuck with what I've got.

Yes, but you could wait until you transfer the points to bank them. Transferred in points may be banked, but cannot be borrowed.

I was checking on this too. You can transfer points as much as you want between accounts you own. Only one per UY between different members. Transfering then banking would be the best bet.

This goes back to the recent discussion about transfers between separate contracts of a single owner. Historically all points must be in on contract to be used and they must be in the UY of the trip itself UNLESS that UY is unreachable for a reservation. It's essentially treated like you're making a DVC reservation other than the issue of home resort timing. This is exactly the situation where transfers of banked/borrowed points and multiple per UY is applicable. If you have the points somewhere they are very good at making it happen but you might have to ask for a second level to get it done.

Thanks for the input, folks. Maybe I gave up too soon. Questions/answers from my conversations with MS this morning:

Assume: 335 SSR OCT and 70 GCV APR

Q1: If booking a reservation for either ABD or Disney Hotels (ex Tokyo), may the reservation pull points from both SSR and GCV accounts?
Answer: No, the reservation can't combine points at time of the reservation. The reservation must be booked from one account - but consider using transfers between the accounts prior to booking the reservation.

Q2: If booking a reservation for either ABD or Disney Hotels (ex Tokyo), what is the maximum number of points available, using banking/borrowing/transfers, available for a single reservation?
Answer: 3x SSR (banked, current and borrowed) plus 1x GCV (current year only). Further explanation went on to say that I could not transfer banked/borrowed GCV points to the SSR account. (No mention of transferring one year, banking them and repeating the same in the following year. Arg -- I should have thought of that!)

Q3: When using points combined from both SSR+GCV, having transfered points between them, what is my available travel window?
Answer: APR-SEPT the overlap between the UY.
