We were originally going to get the Peg Perego Aria Twin MT Stroller but I've read horrible reviews especially about the basket dragging on the ground.

In December, our kids will be 5mo and 2 1/2 (she's very tiny only about 22lbs right now). We want to make sure the stroller has enough shade, is comfortable for both and will last at least 3 years for both kids.

We are also seriously considering just getting the Graco Duo Glider even though it's heavier.

What are your thoughts?

I didnt have a Combi twin, but I did have a single and it was the worst stroller I have ever owned (and I have owned a lot in my 17 1/2 years of kids). It is made of a cheap plastic that does not hold up well and after my DD was about 2 it just wouldnt push worth a darn. I didnt even get it until after she was 1. The handle was short and my DH refused to push it (he is 6'2"). I have since found the Maclaren line of strollers and these are built to last. They hold up to 55 pounds, even my DD8 can still ride in our Volo and it doesnt feel like there is a kid in it. I have ordered another Mac for our new addition due in a few weeks- this time a Quest that reclines. I wouldnt order the Combi for anything.

I had this stroller and loved it! The selling points for me were the weight and the compact fold. Ours lasted 4 years of constant use and several flights to WDW (atleast 10). It was very convenient and easy to travel with every where I went. I could handle the baby and the stroller on and off the buses which would have been impossible to do with any other double stroller.

I loved it so much that I bought a single combi when DD#1 got too old for the double stroller. Big mistake, like the PP I thought the single Combi was junk.

If I had to do it all over I would check out the Maclaren and Combi. I don't know for sure but I have a feeling the Mac is more sturdy and better built. I would really have to compare the weight and folded size. I orginally owned a Graco tandem and hated it. It was huge! It barely fit in my car and took up all of the space. It was also very heavy.

Hmmmm...maybe I'll take a look at the Macs, too. Anyone know what the recline positions are like?
