Columbus dissers, what's going on up there?

Heard on the radio that a car and a tractor trailer got their passenger side windows shot out I think on I-95?..noone hurt...

Anyone else hear this???

The only thing I know of happened a couple of days ago.

Two cars had passenger windows shot out. No one was injured.

They aren't sure if it was a copycat person or just a really bad aiming hunter.

It hasn't happened (that I know of) since then. The news here is quiet and I don't see anything on the local websites.

Well we do not have an I-95. Not sure what Shep heard about. However, I was home this a.m. and at Circle S Farm to get pumpkins all afternoon. I didn't hear anything on the radio while in the car.

I will post if I hear anything else.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was investigating a series of shootings Tuesday night they say occurred along Interstate 71 in Morrow County.

Investigators believe someone fired shots from a wooded area along the highway toward I-71 near Mount Gilead late Tuesday afternoon. Two passing vehicles were struck by bullets on their passenger sides. No one was injured in either shooting.

Authorities said they did not have any suspects late Tuesday night. They said they planned to continue searching the wooded area through the night until daybreak in their quest for the shooter and for evidence.

there is no I-95 in ohio. I-95 is on the east coast and is one of the major roads that has been shut down in the DC sniper case.

the columbus shooting was on I-71.

yeah I knew there was a 95 nearby but I didn't know if it was route or Interstate highway (I'm not originally from Ohio)

My DS goes to OSU and I went to pick him up Thur for a long weekend and as I approched the mile marker where it happened i did become very nervous. You never know now a days. It was in Morrow county, mile marker in the 150's.

My guess is that it was a hunter (and for all you wondering Morrow County is fairly good drive from Columbus so I didn't even think twice when I heard it). There are a lot of hunters up in that area and I know from stories that I hear every year some are not too bright nor have good aim. I haven't heard anything about this since right after it happened so I guess we'll probably never know for sure

Yes It most likely was a nut case of a hunter. I live just inside Morrow County and yes Elaine it's about 25-30 north of Columbus

Shep - there was a shooting nearby yesterday just south of Dublin (northwest suburb of Columbus) Two guys pulled over on 270 because of car trouble, and 2 guys in a white Intrepid pulled over and shot to death one of them. I think it happened last night.

That must have been the reason for the major traffic jam on 270 last night. We were lucky enough to get off onto an exit and bypass it!! I just figured it was the usual rush hour traffic..so sad to hear that it was something so tragic!!

Wow, I hadn't heard about that one. I was out all evening last night so this is the first I have heard of it. That's so sad that it happened though. Some people are just terrible
