Columbus Day Weekend...

How crazy is disneyland during that weekend? I am going out to CA from Thursday to Tuesday for a charity event on Saturday and was wondering if I should go to the park Friday or Monday.

Bumping because i may also go that long weekend.

Would love to know opinions on which best 2 days to go between Fri / Sat / Sun & Monday (Columbus Day would be celebrated on Monday).

That's when we'll be there! It's a school holiday in Illinois, plus a "Student Institute" day on Friday-makes for a long weekend! Flying in Thursday, and leaving Monday!

Last year it was very busy, but coincided with Gay Days as well. It was also Fall Break time for some schools in AZ.

It IS a school/bank/Post Office holiday in SoCal. Everyone else not affiliated with government jobs has the option to close business for the day or not, and most businesses stay open. But, as Avalon451 posted in a similar thread about Columbus Day, any long weekend will be pretty busy.
