Hey all you DLR experts...A WDW veteran here SO lost with DLR!
I am so overwhelmed with trying to plan good use of time for this trip over Columbus Day week. I know it will be crowded on Mon. of Cols. Day...
does anyone know if it will be an EE day? We will be there for the week...I plan on one EE for Fantasyland and one for Nemo...any strategy of how I should plan for this holiday? Suggestions? Anything would be appreciated!

Since the park will be crowded on Monday, I'd plan that as your Fantasyland Early Entry day - you should easily be able to do all the rides in Fantasyland that are open during EE in that hour.

I'd guess that most of the people in the park that day will be So Cal locals, and we are notoriously late arrivals, so even up to 10:00-11:00 the crowds in the park probably won't be too bad, because we're all still arriving at the park. :-) So during that time, do any of the non-Fastpass rides that you really want to do, and start collecting FPs for other rides.

During the middle of the day you'll just have to see what the crowds are like - I'd suggest actually going over to DCA for the afternoon since it'll be less crowded than Disneyland.

When DL is crowded, do some of the less popular (and less crowded) attractions, like the 50 Magical Years movie in the Opera House on Main Street, the Tiki Room, and Innoventions. Believe it or not, the Pooh ride in Critter Country usually has a pretty short line, and Tarzan's Treehouse is usually a walk-on.

Since Disney's HalloweenTime will be going on then there will be special activities over in the Big Thunder Ranch area - I don't know if you have kids, but there's a craft area for kids there, and a "Woody's Roundup" show. Don't miss Haunted Mansion Holiday - and at that time of the year they use the Fastpass machines so you can Fastpass it.
